Well made and not too heavy when full
I needed a convenient water reservoir for a long walk. This product fitted the bill perfectly. I bought the 2 litre model. I think this was a good choice for me as 2 litres of water is quite heavy. The quantity was quite sufficient for a days walking in not too hot conditions. The construction is light but robust. It is easy to fill. It apparently has an anti-bacterial coating which is a nice touch. The drinking tube fitted in my rucksack well and it didn't take long to get used to the drinking mouthpiece (not having used one of these reservoirs before). The mouthpiece did not leak at all. Not the cheapest of reservoirs but felt it was worth it for a quality product.

Very satisfied
2nd one bought in 15 years....not even a replacement...just one for my husband so he has one too! Excellent product and very recommended.

Functional and practical
Really good product. The reason I have given it 4 stars is the very large opening. I think it could have been a wee bit more petite?

Fab bladder
Fab bladder. I bought it to go in my running vest as that came with soft flasks. It is easy to clean, and so far the water tastes fine in it as long as it hasn't been in the days! The bite valve is really easy to use and delivers a good amount of water. When screwing the lid on, you just have to be careful it is square on, otherwise, like most screw caps it cross threads slightly and can then leak, but this is easily noticed as soon as you tip it up.The straw is long, so for some applications it may need cutting down, but at least there is enough to do that.

Love it
I stopped using camelbacs years ago, due to the funky taste it produced, it was a good price and I needed a new one to replace a different branded bladder.Totally upped their game, bite valve still excellent, no leaks, filling of the bladder is great. Had a bit of fall going up hill, lost my footing and landed on my back, this camelbac took the full weight of me and it was unscathed. Brilliant 👍🏻

Great design
I've had camel items before and and ive always found them very good and this item is no exception.Allot of thought has been put into the design. The size of the filler allowes easy filling and makes it easy to dry. Even the handle makes for easy handling when filling. Well worth that little extra cost.

Leaks
I'd always sworn by Camelbak bladders since I got my first about 14 years ago, so when I needed a different size I didn't look elsewhere. When it arrived I immediately took a dislike to the new design of cap - and 7 months down the line still don't find it as easy to undo or fasten. After I'd used it a few times I suddenly found I got a very wet back on one outing, so assumed I hadn't fastened it properly.Since then I find I have a number of outings with no problems, and then get soaked for two or three in a row. Whenever I fill it I have it upside for a while (to 'drink' the air out it to stop it sloshing), and took to keeping it that way for longer to check for leaks - and found nothing. I've laid it down on top of kitchen roll to try and find the leak point from a damp patch appearing - but it never leaks when I've tried that. I've looked for a pattern (is it always when my pack is full of other stuff?) and discovered there isn't one. Sometimes my pack is full, sometimes it's empty. Sometimes the bladder was full at the start of the outing, at other times I've filled it to less than half capacity. But invariably the bladder is empty by the time I get home from a long walk, so the leak must be near the bottom somewhere.......I've tried everything I can think of to find a leak and come up blank - but still it leaks.Unfortunately this problem didn't occur until after my return cut-off, otherwise I'd have immediately sent it back and ordered a replacement in case it was a faulty one-off. (Reading other reviews I'm not convinced it is though.)I've now reached a point I can't cope with it any more as I don't want to unexpectedly run out of water when out walking in the heat if we get a decent summer, and am looking at other makes to find an alternative replacement. I stopped recommending this make to people looking for a bladder about 6 weeks after getting this one.
