Bruder Scania R-series Fire Engine with Water Pump

What a fabulous toy! It's huge and the functionality is amazing. Obviously the squirting of water is a massive hit but also the different places for the men to sit and the ease with which everything moves. The sound and light module is good (not too loud or annoying either). The hose kinks a bit and would easily snap I think (possibly designed that way to prevent strangulation). It needs careful winding to prevent permanent kinking. The usual Bruder quality and "playability" have made a 4 yr-old and his Dad very happy!

Well manufactured toy with lots of detail, It is strong and robust and has lots of features to keep a wide range of different age children engaged. It is definitely my sons favourite nee naw!

...this "little" gem was bought for my 4 year old's Birthday and is an absolute winner. It's somewhat enormous but all the better for it and has some great features - even being able to pump water out of the hose to extinguish all those ickle unwanted fires. Not only that but it's really robust and looks like it should survive long into the future. At anywhere near the £40 mark it's a total no brainer.

A bit pricey, but it's good quality. It would be even better if it could turn. Still, it captures the attention of both children and grown ups, and my son likes it a lot. The alarm sound didn't work at the beginning, which is disappointing for a fire engine, but after a few beats-up from my toddler it suddenly started to work.

Bought as Christmas gift for 8 year old grandson. He absolutely loved it. It is so realistic he chased us around the lounge with water in the hose pipe. Strong and sturdy and a brand I will go back to again for a fourth time for birthday.

Very sturdy, and well used by a 3 year old, shame it was delivered by DHL, who do not deliver, meant a 30 KM drive to collect

I was the best Grandad when i gave this fire engine to my grandson for his 4th birthday, he even wanted to take it to bed with him and the adults had a lot of play time with it :) When i was looking for figures for the engine, i asked the question does the Bruder 60100 fireman fit the engine, i had 6 answers with mixed views, please be assured he does fit in the cab and the seat on the rear.

I got the item at a good price and my daughter loves it. My daughter managed to pull the hose off of what it was attached to and I can’t see where it is supposed to go. The only negative is the hose could be more durable. Nonetheless a great item
