The packet of seeds was delivered promptly. They took quite a while to germinate, so I was ready to give up and post a bad review. [seeds this year have been more difficult to germinate for some unknown reason]. However, all was redeemed after a good a few weeks - there they were! Compared to other seed distributors, there were loads more seeds in the packet. Some can be a bit mean - but not this retailer. I haven't tasted them yet, but I'm guessing they'll taste like parsnips!! That's all I'm hoping for.

A bit of messing around as I like to start these off in the middle of an empty toilet roll to get the glowing then put the whole thing in the garden - bid question, is it really worth it when you look at the cost of a parsnip In the shops?

Sowed these quite late as previous seeds from another company hadn't germinated. Almost all the seeds from this order have come through and are growing well. Very pleased I brought these from this supplier

Parsnips are one of my favorite bulb vegetables and this seeds gave me what I really expected. Living in Greece is an advantage in terms of good whether. I have managed to have parsnips with this seeds all the year around. Very good quality seeds I recommend to anybody. Thanks Amazon.

Poor germination
I am very happy with this providers service, as I have stated in other reviews. The price, postage and delivery are all very good. Unfortunately the germination rate of this particular parsnip is awful. Out of the three sowings of a couple of hundred seed only three plants have germinated. I am an experienced gardener and have grown parsnips many times but these seeds are the worst performers I have ever encountered.
