No cable to connect to dgt chess board? why is it not supplied

Many users do not need the connectivity and use the timer function only. Adding a lead would add to the cost of the timer and would possibly be a waste of product. Connection material is normally available separately for different circumstances, whether for competition, board linking or home use. We supply the DGT Smartboard for instance with the basic USB lead pack included, but which is usually sold as an extra.
