Learning Resources Fraction Tower Equivalency Cubes, Ages 6+, 51 Pieces

A really useful tool for learning about fractions. Lots of mileage in this set as fractions become more complex.

I used this to introduce fractions to my class for the first time as a part of a whole selection of resources, and this was the resource I reached for 95% of the time. Really clear to understand, great for division by grouping (draw on them with drywipe pen) and the proportional sizes across the set avoided any misconceptions. The only things I'd improve are: making one side magnetic (so they will stick to a whiteboard); and adding more denominators (sevenths, ninths and elevenths are not included).

I love this visual aid. It is great for demonstrating concepts such as 2 x 1/3 = 2/3 whereas 2/2 x 1/3 = 2/6. It is easy to show that 1/3 = 2/6. It is adult enough to be used with GCSE students and has been a wonderful tool for explaining concepts of fractions and decimals to students who need to visualise what they are learning if they are to grasp the principles. It makes explanations of how to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions much easier. The colours are great!

A great learning tool for maths

Good value for money (must admit I was originally looking for a wooden version but they were about twice the price). It had percentages, fractions and decimals on it so very versatile.

Bought for son to aid with SATS. He is a visual/kinetic learner so allowed him to get a concrete idea of abstract concept. He is now able to visualise the blocks in tests and this helps him feel confident about the answers he is writing. Would definatly recommend to anyone whos children (or they) are struggling with fractions/decimals. Solid construction, good colours. Arrived promptly.

My daughter is learning fractions in KS2 and they use a 'fraction wall' to help them in class. This is exactly the same.The fractions pull apart and can be added together so its easy for the child to see the difference in sizes and the outcome of adding fractions.The blocks have the fraction value on one side but also have the percentage value on another.I am sure this will help my daughter and would recommend it.

I bought this to help my son understand fractions better than I could explain them. When I bought this my son was 8 yrs old. I think it has given him a greater understanding of fractions and helped me explain them to him more simply.I also use this for my daugter who is 6 yrs old. It has really helped them both and I would highly recommend this product to anyone with young children especially when doing homework. Amazon offer excellent value, packaging and service.

This product is good in quality, edges are not sharp, my kid loves it.

Bought as a gift for my grandson who is on the spectrum and absolutely loves numbers and math. He has spent hours playing with this. I can't speak to if it functions as intended. I just know that he absolutely loves. The prices are good quality

I like them they are affordable and very useful for teaching children the conceots of mathematics.
