Always comes in handy!
On my own bike, I have the newer Optimate charge lead connected to the battery but recently started riding for the Lincolnshire Emergency Blood Bikes and found most of their bikes have the older TM charge lead connected to the battery. This adapter allows me to charge and maintain the blood bike's battery using my Optimate with the newer SAE connector and connect other accessories to the bike, e.g. phone charger, heated gloves, etc., if needed whilst out on deliveries.

Quality 'Make Life Easier' SAE-TM adapter!
I recently purchased an 'Accumate 6-12v' charger believing it would arrive with a standard 'TM' male connector (as advertised and purchased from another web-site) which could connect directly to the Female 'TM' connector already hard wired to my bike. Unfortunately it seems most of the newer motorcycle chargers now come supplied with the 'SAE' type connectors as the Accumate did. I ordered this from Amazon on 'Prime' which I received with next day delivery, and now no need to remove the existing TM connector from my bike. This is a well made and robust connector which took seconds to fit, and I would thoroughly recommend it for those who find themselves in the same pickle as I did!

What can I really say...it's an adapter, it works...end of! This device plugs into my battery cable and the other end plugs very neatly, beautifully actually into the charger, wonderful. I love it. It's probably the best adapter I've ever bought. I spend hours every week thanking my lucky stars that I made the right choice! Honestly though..it is ok and it works...happy days!

Excellent way to reuse older connectors on newer Optimate
Need this to use crocodile clips fitted with the tamiya connector with my newer Optimate 4. Very cost effective solution.

Fast delivery
Does exactly what it says, converts from the older style Optimate plug to the newer. I have an Optimate 4 as well as the USB adapter so this works well allowing me to interchange between both.
