It seems sturdy enough and well made especially for the price including the postage. Well packed in a strong Amazon box and delivered intact.The bird box itself looks the part and easy sounding to clean once a year, when you would do that not so sure. Can just imagine the owl looking at you to see what you were up to when trying to do it.It does not come with any fitting for attaching to where you are going to put it, we are going to place it in an oak tree. So fun later with the ladder etc, husband says just a case of using a big screw but being careful not to kill the tree off.I am delighted with it, the price is such a lower one than many of the garden centres and it is a good well known make, there are other in the range that I will be looking at next as the quality and dispatch time of this was spot on.Now if any owls go into it will be the test, probably knowing us it will be the sparrows as they seem to find any gaps around the eaves to nest in. Have seen and heard the owls so that is why I thought that an owl box would be a great idea, something for the kids and us to watch and also give a bird a home.Husband has gaged the best place for the position of it for the owl's flight path and will be looking with the binocs to see if any owls or other feathered friends approach it.

Very happy with this box
Very happy with this box. Its strong and made out of thick wood. ( I hope it will stand up to the strong wind. ) One small point is that it needs a better hanging hook!!. (Had to make my own hanging fittings) , as I will not put a nail/screw into my tree. ( could kill the tree!!!!.)

Good solid owl box
These were a great solid box for a good price. I vought two for our field. No signs of owls yet (well at least not in these boxes yet. Time will tell.
