Great product.Easy to setup and amazing customer service.

Well if the original had babies this would be it, identical in features, bar the blue on 1 side.Nice and small, few buttons on unit not pressed yet, hopefully won’t need to press as dare say 1 is a reset. It’s great comes with an actual plug unlike the pyramid I bought just over 2 years ago, so yes, this is the replacement to that as pyramids came unreliable. Now the only thing I actually dismiss how short the cat cable is, however it’s not the cat cable I bought this for, it’s the fact that can hide ip addresses. For size it smaller than the iPhone in height, appearance looks nice n fresh.

To be totally honest - the unit I received I believe may have been ‘pre enjoyed’ as was not using the same SSID and up range as advertised on the packaging.The unit has been locked down to their VPN service only - so naturally no form of recovery to get into the actual settings of every machine was possible - without having to boot flash it back to a completely fresh machine.The device seems very capable with regards what is possible - complete with analysing all WiFi traffic that it can see.PROS: if delivered properly - should be able to use their VPN service with little or no user intervention as a PAY serviceCONS: difficult to reflash and configure if you don’t know EXACTLY what you’re doing - if you want to use your own VPN or an alternative supplier

I have used Liberty Shield VPN Routers for years now and found them to be very reliable. It’s easy to set up and use and the price is very competitive. The signal strength is always very good and in my experience does not drop out. The size of the router makes it very discreet next to your internet suppliers router and this also makes it very portable.I would recommend this product to anyone that is looking for a secure connection or when looking to watch Uk TV while overseas.

I purchased this product based on the reviews and a recommendation, I also got the 1 year subscription. Theres a few things to note, good and bad.The Good:1. Setup was easy, the team do mostly everything for you2. It opens up everything, nothing is restricted, I can watch all the movies from all over the world now.3. Speed on LAN is great all over my house, even running over various switches in various rooms.Now the bad.1. Wifi is crap and when I say crap, I mean appalling, constant dropouts, slow speeds, ages to connect - you name it.2. If like me you're on an English named home telephone provider with foreign speaking customer service then you might come across problems with anything connecting to switches and/or your broadband. I found a way round it but only through trial and error. Once it works its great!3. The cable that is supplied to go from your router to the box, what is that all about? I have seen longer legs on a worm!4. And finally....Sometimes....just sometimes.....(at least 3 times on occasion) connections drop completely and if I am watching something, I have to restart my MAG box completely just to watch what I want to watch (No, it's not my settings, the router actually loses connection, I had it checked)I am unsure if I will be renewing my subscription unless things improve with the wifi as this is essential too - The yearly cost needs to be reviewed also, I am sure there are many companies out there who would be happy to take my money :-)

EDITED REVIEW. I have completely rewritten this review because of some amazing support from Liberty Shield.Now to be clear, this Lite version of their VPN router and the VPN service aren’t for me. Although, I’m sure they will be perfect for other people. They’re simply just not suited to my particular need.However, I have given 5 stars because of Liberty Shield’s fantastic technical support. They responded to my first email first thing in the morning and then made two further quick replies later in the same day. They also fixed an issue that I was having, all within one day.If after sales and technical support are a high priority for you when buying a tech item. Then I would whole heartedly recommend Liberty Shield if their VPN routers and VPN service suit your requirements.
