Shimano Acera RD-M3020-SGS Rear Derailleur - 7/8 Speed, Long Cage, Black

Works great on my wife’s bike after adjusting. Can handle larger cassette than older Acera Derailleur. Shift well.Using on a 1 by 8 speed cassette, shout also work with a 2 or 3 speed front derailleur.

Was a great replacement for my needs and works great.

as always, replacing a derailleur or adjusting them, they take a few hours and adjust this and adjust that, then a small test ride around in circles and fine tune adjusting. Plenty of adjusting video's on you tube. However, I did not replace the chain so I had to unscrew the 2 cog wheels and there was no lubrication in them. Why not?? So then I forgot how the chain went back through the loop of the 2 cogs. That alone took me about 3 hours off and on. My problem was I was trying to set it into the wrong side of the chain because the derailleur would not extend. It was maddening. But finally got it figures out and all adjusted and shifts like it hasn't in a very long time. quite a few years. great model.

works great after some tuning using YouTube my derailer hanger is bent so i skip one to two gears still but it works great. It didn't come a in a bag like my single speed one so it was a bit dusty it was in another box though

We bought this rear derailleur to replace the Alivio 8-speed derailleur on my son's MTB. We have put it through its paces and it has seen a lot of use. As can be expected of Shimano equipment, it shifts very well. The index shifting is accurate and, of course, any mid- to high-end Shimano equipment is always very durable. The smooth and black design also give it a sharp appearance.

The cheap derailer that came on my Lectric Ebike skipped a lot and I could not adjust it to work better. Although this is a lower level shimano, it works perfectly on my Ebike and solved the skipping problems. Great value for the money.

Upgraded drivetrain on wifes Aventon LEVEL II from 8 speed 12-32 cassette to 11-40, needed a derailleur to accommodate the larger cog. Works perfectly! (Recommended)

I needed a long cage derailleur to accommodate an 11-40T Shimano cassette. The installation was easy and fast. By following the instructions from the following video on Youtube by Park Tool, "How to Adjust a Rear Derailleur – Limit Screws & Indexing," the derailleur performs well. The shifting is on point, quiet, and smooth. I am very satisfied with the derailleur.
