Rapid Bath Repair Kit

This product was recommended by a friend and was very easy to use. The instructions are extremely clear and the whole repair took me less than two hours from start to finish. I was able to use the bath the same day and you wouldn't even know it had been damaged in the first place. I did a great job even I do say so myself....very chuffed!

Good product but expensive. However it does work and saves replacing bath or shower tray. Need a level of skill to use properly. Tricky to get right on steep or vertical faces. You need to check the euro code for the shade off white you require. This product do not exactly match my shower tray but it was close enough. You need to be careful not to over fill or you will be hand sanding for a long time. I bought some jewellers emery paper ultra fine grade to get the final finish I needed. Overall did the job well only 4 stars because it is expensive for what you get.

Considering the cost of this product, you take a big chance. I purchased this to make a small repair to my bath. I did the research on how to use this product and looked on YouTube for further instruction. Once confident I then opened the box to use the repair kit. On opening one of the mixer bottles, I noticed that it was of a paste consistency, which was not what I was expecting at all. Then I mixed the parts together to make the repair solution. I then followed the instructions to carry out the repair. Once applied I left to set, on returning to the repair 30 minutes later the solution has not set or filled the area and left the bath the repair in a total mess and it’s in a condition I cannot remedy. Unbeknown to me the mixer that was of a paste consistency was out of shelf life and unworkable. So to conclude, from my experience, you take a chance on getting the product you need, a change that can leave you a £35.00 hole in your pocket and you bath in a worse condition than before.

Used this on a customers bath. It wasn’t perfect and the colour didn’t match perfectly but it fixed the hole in their bath and they were happy

Comment said free next day delivery. Ordered it on a Friday came the following Tuesday and was charged delivery?? This comment needs to be removed as it’s clearly false/ or misleading. Does what it said to a certain extent, as yet there is still an obvious mark where the scratch was. It was expensive and for the size of the scratch lots of wasted product. There are cheaper ones on the market. Friend recommended this one hence the purchase but maybe cheaper one would do the job?

A saviour

easy to use. Fairly easy to apply. Would work great on a relatively flat surface. less so on a slope, despite using the included bluetac. Seals the bath, doesnt disguise the cracks.

The finished result from this product is good, can just see repair if look closely and know where to look but otherwise would be extremely difficult to spot, and feels completely smooth to touch. Did not need whole product but didn't risk mixing less as proportions difficult to measure and didn't want to risk spoiling the job by mixing wrong - having the product in 2 smaller amounts of each would have been more economical option. Chip on flat base of bath was easiest to do, chip just on the curve of the base needed a reservoir as described in the video so lots of rubbing down required to get rid of the excess after it cured and I had to buy more emery paper to finish the job.. Plastic sheet curls whilst curing but the slightly raised edges of filler smooth down with sanding.
