this thing needs trimming.
This thing is way too long. I cant imagine there is a bike out there that it will fit without cutting.Having snipped the end the velcro can then come unattached as it is stiched on and you are cutting through the stitching.A little bit of superglue bonds that together just fine. The protector is then perfect. SLC logo is a bit white, depending on your preference you may want to marker pen over that. I'm all for the stealth look. 4 stars since it is just too damn long.

Good value and practical chain stay protector
I lost my chain stay protector during a ride and this item looked good. It was reasonably priced and arrived promptly. It was easy to fit as it has velcro strips so can easily be removed for cleaning.. IIt's been in use for a few weeks now and covered a few hundred miles with me already in some fairly inclement weather with wet muddy road conditions. It does the job and looks smart. I can recommend this product.

Does as described and protects my bike from scratches.
I just bought a new mountain bike, and didn't want to scratch my frame when the chain bounces, going over bumps, jumps or even just going downhill. It does the job and goes nice with my matte black frame.

putting it on
really good quality good looking chainstay, i really like it, the only thing stopping me from leaving 5* is the fact that i had to make a hole in it to go round a cable holder on the frame (it was either that or cut it down in length) but thats down to my bike size not a fault in the product so its good if you can make sure it fits.

Looks good
Bought product as i noticed the chain was hitting the frame. It doesnt quite fit with the velcro, but it does hold in place and once it is turned round you cant tell the difference. Looks good and I am sure it will remain on my bike

Protects your chainstay, and its black with some letters on
Had to make a slight cut to fit this around the cable guide but it looks cool and protects the chainstay from oil and scratches and stuff. Still looks good after a year of daily commuting on the bike

Fits very snugly and does its job exactly as described.If it is too long for your chainstay, what are you riding?I have a 17.5 MTB and the fit is perfect.
