Non Absorbent Breast Pads

I got these to wear for day out in the summer. They stayed in place all day, were really comfortable and not at all sweaty. They give a really nice shape and aren’t at all visible. Only problem I had, was I leaked a little bit but the end of the day and it leaked out. But it was after 14hours! They are super easy to clean and I’ve had many wears out of them. Highly recommended!!

I am quite literally in love with lilypadz! This is my second pair, the first pair lasted me just over three months but have started to become less "sticky" so I thought it was time for some new ones. I was originally using washable breast pads, which I still do during the day but I quickly got sick of wearing a bra during the night so I looked around for something that would just stick to me. At the time I started using them I had very damaged and cracked nipples but the removal of these pads did not hurt or damage my nipples further. I was using lily wash to clean the pads but quickly ran out of this product and found that dove soap and very hot water was just as effective, although probably not recommended by the manufacturer. Before using lily pads I would quite regularly leak through the breast pads I was wearing, especially if my baby missed a night feed. Since I've been using lily padz I have not leaked milk once. I would point out that you have to make sure your nipple is fully depressed before sealing the rest of the pad around your Brest. If the nipple is slightly "pokey" when you apply the pad then milk can end up pooling under the pad and runs out when you remove it. The pad is very comfortable to wear and I forget they are even there. Other reviewers have mentioned the pads might contribute to blocked ducts or mastitis but I have not found this to be the case and in fact I suffered with both of these issues prior to using the pads. In conclusion, lily padz stop leaks, stop the need for night time bras, are descrete and comfortable and so much better for the environment than disposable breast pads.

I liked this product. It won't stop big leaks so don't buy it and expect it to do that, but for small leaks I found it worked just fine. I use them overnight. I just clean them with handsoap and hot water and leave them to dry which seems to work fine. They are comfortable and easy to apply and it means I don't have to wear a bra in bed. I think give them a miss if you leak a lot though.

I have a very strong milk flow so these pads, for women with a lighter flow, are great. For me they have leaked on several occasions. They filled up with milk then leaked. If you have a light milk flow these would work brilliantly under normal clothes. I wouldn't recommend them for using during active breast feeding with you baby. As taking them on and off reduces their sticking capabilities. Also, they are easy to lose as transparent and can bit fiddly to put on under clothes in public.

I am pregnant with my second child and one of the things on top of my list was buying new Lily Padz, so I was a little surprised to see some negative reviews here and thought I'd share my experience with this product. I breastfed my daughter for 18 months. During that time I tried washable breast pads, disposable ones and then a friend recommended these. I never looked back: they stayed in place and there were no leaks or nasty accidents. Night time was easy and comfortable as I didn't need to wear a bra to hold them in place. Considering I was expressing in the workplace, I also wanted them to be discreet, which can be difficult at times. With Lily Padz it didn't look as though my nipples were huge or I was cold all the time. I think it's worth mentioning that I produced a lot of milk with my first child. Caring for them was easy, I washed them with a mild soap in the shower and left them to air dry. I only had one pair which lasted me months (probably even a year, I can't remember the exact date when I bought them). If all my words fail to convince you, the fact that I am buying another pair should.

I first brought these in 2012 from mothercare, I thought they were fantastic and used them for over a year but only brought 3 lots in that time but wore them most days and the same again with next baby 2015 but orderd this set ready for baby this time and since opening them they have been awful, they seem thinner and one of them seems to want to go flat and won't stick to the curve of my breast, the sticky doesn't seem to work after just a couple of days.I have washed them in special Lily pass wash with hot water as I did my others but they are nowhere near as good. In fact I wouldn't of believed these were the same brand.

great idea and looks good in a bra but stopped being sticky after one use and also me and baby ended up with thrush possibly because it retains moisture in it. back to normal breast pads that stick on clothes - i can actually stick them to my top and can wear them even without a bra if top is tight fitting it doesn't go anywhere so no need for lilipadz

So I wanted something to wear so I didn’t leak during the night and I was so sick of wearing a bra at night and researched and found these. I was a little skeptical and thought I would try them for a while before leaving a review. I mean the price is a bit steep to just ‘try’ something but anything that gave me a braless night. They go on very easily, clean very easy with hot water and some fairy liquid. Easy to take off for a feed but being half asleep it can be a bit fiddly to put it back on properly. I only had leakage from one side one night because it wasn’t on properly but these have been AMAZING! I am so glad I stumbled upon these and bought some to try because the feeling of being able to sleep without a bra while breastfeeding has been amazing. They might not work well for someone who has a lot of letdown while feeding but I mean I’d give it a try! Definitely something I’d recommend to mums in the future.
