Is there a minimum pressur

No there is no minimum pressure if the water flows without the filter it will go through with the filter .The only time i had a problem after a year they changed the water pipes in town and the filter got blocked with sandchanged the filter and had no more problems.i am also in an area that has hard water.

what fittings do the 10" water filters take, i know they are 3/4" but where do i get them from and why dont you sell them?

you require 2 3/4" brass nipples from plumbers merchant also 2 flexi hoses 3/4 mi to 15mm copper also from plumbers merchant

Would this be ideal to attach on the front of a Karcher GP50 pump to clean the water entering the pump?

It is more suited to a fixed installation, the Karcher GP50 is more of a portable solution. However, as long as you go the connections right then it could work. If you were to put a 5-micron filter in it then the pressure drop across the filter shouldn't be too much. Another consideration would be what you are filtering from (a water butt for example) that would determine how often you need to change the filter out.
