The best & stay health!!
Wow! I am very sensitive and careful when it comes to eating fish. For health purposes, I searched forever and finally landed with this wild sardines choice. A pack of12 , each one is cutely packed with small fishes and well prepared with Olive Oil. The texture is great, the salt minimum, which is great. and, it is so easy to open it.All I do is sprinkle a little bit of sea salt on fish, and eat them as part of my breakfast. Convenient, delicious, adding a great deal of value and healthy elements to my breakfast.Buying foot related items can be tricky but this is the choice I can see myself keeping coming back for more. Finally, I started making my effort and enjoying "Wild Planet Wild Sardines". Stay healthy!

Skipjack light tuna, not as mild as albacore if that's what you like.
I order these for me and also for my cat. That is NOT ALL I feed my cat however as it does not contain everything a cat needs. It is a great topper or once or twice a week treat for him. I like the taste and so does my Bengal cat. I know many people prefer albacore tuna to chunky light tuna, but I don't usually see the point in eating tuna that doesn't really taste like fish. This one tastes about like other light tuna (not albacore) but this brand is better for the planet (the way it is caught) and healthier because it is wild caught with pole and line.

An easy addition
I have been told Sardines are a nutrient-rich food that offer numerous health benefits, especially for heart, bone, and brain health. They are a convenient and affordable way to boost your omega-3 intake and improve your overall well-being and I add them to my menu a couple meals a week. These particular sardines are delicious and nutritious. These tiny fish enhance sandwiches, soups and salads and, most importantly, your health!

A very healthy sardine pick
Wild Planet unsalted sardines in water are a healthy option. Some people may not rate these as the very best tasting nor do some taste comparison sites, but they don't fall way low on the lists either. Eaten with some mayo or not on saltines the flavor improves for some people.

Pull tab top, No Salt, Lots of Sardines per can
These definitely have the sardine smell. I ordered them for our son, and as a rare treat for our cats, both love sardines. There is plenty of water, but the can is still packed with sardines. The can is a pull tab, perfect for camping. For a no salt item these can be hard to find. Packed well with no damaged tins.

Wild Planet is a Favorite
Opened one up as soon as it arrived. One might only feel a hint of lemon (if even that) as an aftertaste which seems to have come from a lemon rind. I liked it and the price was good.

taste better than oil based canned sardine
My family and I enjoy eating canned sardines every once in a while, though not often. However, my oldest son has acne, so he won't eat the oil-based kind we buy in bulk at Costco. I used to buy the water-based kind at our local CVS, but when I found out it was cheaper to buy it on Amazon, I bought a lot of these. My oldest son loves it because it tastes good and doesn't make his acne worse. He even says it tastes even better than the oil-based one. If you are concerned about oxidation, this water-based ones are certainly better for your health than an oil-based. It's also helpful that it has a long shelf life despite being water-based. I would purchase it again.

Love Most Wild Planet, but not These
I really like the Wild Planet sardines in olive oil, so I thought the addition of lemon would be great. Unfortunately, I didn't really like it. Can't explain why, except to say the taste just didn't appeal to me and was nowhere as good as the ones in olive oil with no lemon, in my opinion.
