The set contains 6 polishes. 3 colours, each with a smooth and glittery effect. The smooth and glittery of each colour match well. And all of the colours work well together.They all have a good colour changing effect. Depending on the lighting they will appear as different colours. In the right lighting you'll get a mix of colours within one nail.I don't have a lot of experience to compare to, but they appear to apply and dry well and last for a reasonable amount of time- a few days with just the polish by itself and no care taken. The polish also comes off well with a basic remover and some paper towel.They seem like a good price compared to other options. I'd certainly be happy to buy them again. I would also love to see more colour options.Pictures show a mix of the green/purple and red/gold colours. With 2 smooth layers of one colour on the bottom and 1 glittery layer of the other colour on top. The colour change can get more dramatic than in the pictures. It can vary a lot better warm or cool and soft or intense lighting.The smooth and glittery polishes also look good by themselves with 2-3 layers. Again a good colour change effect. The smooth polish has a bit of a sparkle to it, especially in the right lighting.The pictures in the listing aren't misleading. They do give a fair representation of what the polishes can look like in the right circumstances.The glittery polish is also quite forgiving with messy application or patching mistakes. Don't ask me how I know.

I bought these for summer along with a white nail paint to use as a base after reading reviews on here. The insert suggests using a black base, I suppose either would be fine but a base I think is essential to bring out the colour. This picture shows one layer of white base followed by two of the nail paint. I will probably invest in a top coat to preserve longer.

Instructions make no sense - as they say to use the oil first! WHAT OIL? only oily looking thing is the Glitter ones....lol So 4 Stars for ODD instructions! but other than that - I love them.Anyway, besides that, the glitter does seems very oily - could just be because it is hot atm. but I normally keep my Nail Varnish in the Fridge, so put these in the Fridge, the glitter one thickens bit, making it far better to use. The colours r lovely even if not Quite as in the pic. Didn't buy them for my nails originally, bought them to paint the larger clips, the plastic coating on those clips don't last more than a couple of uses - but the Nail Varnish is great, especially to cover the connecting bit - which rips hair out! OUCH! These r Brilliant for this job, as can mix the diff tones of varnish and glitter or just one of each etc.

Liked the look of the colours. Was excited to put on varnish but it's like water hardly any colour (despite 3 coats). My advice DO NOT BUY

If you love the colours in peacock feathers then you’ll love this nail polish. I’ve tried it over black and dark grey nail polish and the duo chrome effects are beautiful.I was looking to replace my much loved Ciate Forest Fruits & After Dark shades which they don’t make anymore and these are the closest I’ve got. The photos don’t do them justice as when you move your fingers around you can see so many pretty colours. I followed the instructions and only needed one coat over a good black/grey base. Then put on a clear top coat. I’m really pleased with the results and can’t wait to try the other colours. 💜💙💚Update: I have now purchased the Mermaid set. I understand how other reviewers say the bottles all look the same and out of the black packaging I agree but once painted over a white base coat they’re so pretty and you can see that each one is a different pearlescent glittery pastel colour. I painted one of each colour and they look so pretty.It’s very difficult to photograph them as the photos don’t seem to pick up the colours. I attach a photo I took inside and outside.If you remember the soap Cussons Pearl they look like that packaging - like Mother of Pearl. Definitely feeling the mermaid vibes. 🧜 🧜🏼‍♀️

The media could not be loaded. Just what I was looking for! Something that was subtle but with a pop of colour.In the photo/video I've only applied one coat over a clear base coat. But you can get different effects if you paint over a different colour.These are fast drying and don't smell really strong compared to other nail varnishes. As for the longevity... I'll get back to you!(I keep my nails short so please excuse them and my poor paint job.)I'd really love some crystal clear base coats with this colour pop effect too! But I'm really happy with these! I now identify as a unicorn!
