NikonCL-M3 Semi Soft Lens Case

well this case came from warehouse deals so it was at a reduced cost but was as new and boxed, and this time was sent by amazon logistics arriveing within a day or so, I was very impressed with the delivery and more so the case, it is a very high quality case, made from the same material as my Nikon d330 camera case, so it all matches, the amazon measurements seem way out though as its a lot bigger, in that I can fit my newly acquired Nikon 55-200 dx vr 11 in it with dust bag and the lens hood fitted,so making it ready for insant use, and with the very substantial shoulder strap not liable to come adrift should it be knocked or pulled. It has a zip up inner top cover and a Velcro fixed top outer cover and seems to have more than enough padding altogether. in old money it measures 8.25 ins x 4.5 ins x 4.5 ins. all in all a great item.

I would have preferred thicker padding towards the top, but this case overall does its job very well. I am not sure if it protects the lens from dust intrustions however.Nonetheless, I have several of these cases and I use them for the following lenses which fit perfectly in it:Nikon 14-24mm f2.8Nikon 24-70mm f.28Nikor 105mm f2.8 (with lenscoat on - saves a lot of hassle from removing the coat every time)Zeiss 15mm f2.8

This CL-M3 case is good for Nikon AF-S 28-300mm G with inverted lens hood. Don't forget the Lowepro 100 AW S&F Lens Exchange Case which is better padded, more versatile and ever more slightly cheaper.
