The mask works, especially for dry eye. Started using this after I was diagnosed with blepharitis and it really helped, especially when combined with eye wipes and eye drops (don't use drops containing preservatives). I then had 2x cataract operations and this really helped after a couple of weeks. I felt better INSTANTLY. Amazing really. The 'bodybeads' are a lot better than the gel used in similar masks, although these beads don't hold their heat for as long as gel - but the beads are safer, feel better on the face and are far superior in my opinion. I am on my 3rd mask.The bigger mask is more expensive than the smaller entry level product but is more comfortable and has a removable cover. Highly recommended.

I had a similar item to this years ago but this one is much better. First time I tried it, put in on for 30 seconds which turned out to be way too hot. Since then I've used it for 20 - 25 seconds but over time, 20 is plenty for my requirements. It does work along with some decent eye drops after use but it needs regular use in my opinion.

Nice eyemask, heat in microwave for a few seconds. A 20 second warm up and the mask stays comfortably warm for 10 minutes. A nice weight to it. Calms sore, tired eyes.

Have had bouts of blepharitis for years and was hating the hot damp cloth - went cold, had to be changed, dripped everywhere - routine. My daughter had just got a heatable eyepad (different brand) so I bought this one to avoid muddle and I am very glad I did. It is so easy to heat and keep clean, seems cool to the touch when you take it out of the microwave after the 30-second heating period but it is beautifully and deeply warm when put on your eyes and stays that way for 10 minutes. I noticed a huge difference from the first time of using and find it a wonderfully relaxing ten minutes when using it. It's only been 3 days but my eyes are no longer so red, I don't feel as if I have half a ton of sand in them, and the vision in my right eye, the worst affected, is no longer as blurred first thing in the morning. Waiting for eyelid cleansers to arrive to replace the bicarbonate of soda step and then life should be bliss!

I bought this eye mask after reading other positive reviews, and I agree with them, it's great. I'm using it for blepharitis. It is quick to heat up in the microwave, and it stays hot for 9 or 10 minutes which is perfect. I thought it would be a nuisance having to do this twice a day but I enjoy it, it's very soothing to use. I've now been using it for a week and it seems to be effective too. I would definitely recommend it.

I found it better than the plastic ones which eventually become more rigid and can leak. I did accidentally put this in the washing machine and it dyed the white clothes a gray color. The coating on it washes off, so you have to hand wash it carefully . The coating is not virus resistant, it's only for bacteria according to the manufacturer.

This was recommended by my optician to help resolve dry gritty eyes. I was sceptical about its efficacy however after a couple of sessions i am pleasantly surprised. It does indeed help to relieve the symptoms. The main issue i have is with getting the heated bead pouch into the eye cover. This has to be done via a slot in one end of the cover which can take time and is difficult to do with hot beads. The cover needs to be redesigned with a full size slot in the top secured by velcro, this would make assembly very quick and easy. Product owner take note !So recommended as long as you can live with the assembly issue.

I've suffered from blepharitis and various eye cysts on and off for many years. In the past I've used the doctor's recommendation of a hot flannel wrapped round a wooden spoon, which tended to be quite a hassle and cooled down too quickly.This invention is great! 30-35 seconds in the microwave and you're good to go with around 7-8 minutes of decent comfortable heat. I've been using it for about six months now. Only thing I've noticed is the amount of heat stored is not always consistent.I think that this is more to do with variation orientation of the pad in the microwave rather than an defect in the product (I place mine in a bowl when heating). I've found that to counteract this, the best thing to do is to overheat the pad for about five seconds (i.e. 35 instead of the 30) and test it. If it is too hot just wait a minute to cool before applying, but if it is just right you are good to start straight away.
