JETech 2156 Universal Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard, White

I bought this little keyboard because the keyboard on my MacBook Pro no longer works. I love it. It it easy to link up - it is light in weight - it fits over my MacBook keyboard meaning I can still in effect use the laptop as a laptop, or it can be used away from the laptop. It automatically loses connection when not in use and fires up again when a key is tapped so that seems to save battery life. It doesn’t come with batteries so you need buy those separately, but they are standard ones. So far the batteries have lasted well and I’ve used it all week. I don’t know how long they will last as I haven’t had the product for very long, but I’ve used it constantly since I bought it. Although it’s obviously cheap to buy, it still looks stylish. It works and for the price of it you can’t go wrong. I normally think you get what you pay for, but I cannot fault this little keyboard - at least not so far. I am really surprised at how neat and good it is for the price. Definitely 5 stars. It fits in the laptop bag. Overall, I am really happy with this little keyboard.

The first thing to say is that the delivery of the keyboard was unbelievably good. I ordered it at 6 pm on a Saturday and it was delivered to my local Amazon Pickup Location by 10.15 am the next day, Sunday. This was standard delivery, no extra charge. Amazing service! I use the keyboard with a MacBook Pro, which has some non-functioning keys on the original keyboard. If you sit the Wireless Keyboard on top of the MacBook Pro keyboard, it bumps against some of the keys underneath, causing random characters to be typed. However, there is a good solution to this, which is to disable the original keyboard. On a Mac this can be done using the free 'Karabiner' software from: [...].This works with Mac OSX. Install it, go to 'Preferences' and select 'Change Key' then 'Karabiner core settings' then check 'Disable an internal keyboard while external keyboards are connected' - and that does it. To restore use of the original keyboard, just uncheck the last setting. The keyboard itself works fine. If it loses contact with the computer just toggle the 'on/off' switch on the back. I've used it for several weeks without having to change the batteries. The touch is not as good as the original keyboard, but its not bad - and for the price its terrific value.

I love this keyboard! I’m not sure why so many people have given it bad reviews for example yes it is American style but it does advertise as that and is clear in the pictures. There also seems to have been some confusion about the # and £ sign. Both of these are on the 3 key however for one you press alt and 3 (to get #) and for the £ sign you press ‘shift and 3’ so not that difficult :) For £12, I am really happy with this. The setup was quick and easy and even when I switch it off and turn it on again, it connects within seconds. It’s not the quietest keyboard however it’s no different in volume to an older one you might use with a windows pc. The keyboard is light and does look good although obviously different materials to the Apple ones, but getting this I certainly wouldn’t pay over £100 for the Apple official. I don’t tend to use shortcuts however they work perfectly well and you can switch shortcuts depending on your operating system which is brilliant. As a student, this is going to be perfect for essay writing and taking it out and about with me. It also has a lifetime warranty so if anything does go wrong, it will get replaced.

In the past I've steered clear of Bluetooth keyboards because of a perception they were laggy and chewed up batteries. Particularly the cheap ones. But this one is great for the money. Bought it primarily to write longer documents on an iPad and it has exceeded my expectations by far. The keyboard is big enough to type on well but still portable. However if you're going to work with a tablet in a very confined space then I suspect an integrated case/keyboard would be better. BT pairing can be a bit clunky. But it's not that hard and to be fair I didn't read the instructions. You can easily get in a mess moving it between devices. But nothing that can't be fixed by 'forgetting' the device in the iPad BT settings and starting again. Killer feature for me is the off switch, which was sadly missing from my last BT keyboard (causing that one to eat batteries). I should point out that I'm not a touch typer. So if you bang out 60 words a minute this might not be for you. But works fine for my typing speed.

This keyboard is great for the price. When my laptop was breaking, I decided to work more on my iPad, and so this was a natural purchase. The quality is great for the price and delivers a top performance. The keyboard looks like a genuine Apple product and so fits in well with the general vibe of Apple users. The keyboard is exceptionally easy to set up, and I even have connected it to my phone as well for good measure. The battery life is also worthy of praise because this keyboard turns itself off if you don't press the buttons for a certain amount of time.

It's a bluetooth keyboard and it works perfectly ... but don't be fooled by the image, you don't get any aluminium it's all plastic and it's quite flexible in the middle even with light key touch but what do you expect at this price, you can pay crazy apple prices and get a premium product but at the end of the day this does exactly the same job. Only 3 stars because "it's OK" and does the job no more no less.

Es un buen teclado, muy ligero pero puede resultar un poco frágil ya que es de plástico, sirve perfectamente para conectarlo con iPad y es bastante bueno el precio, lo que no me gusta es que viene configurado como de Windows cuando sus teclas están impresas como de iOS aún no descubro si se puede cambiar la configuración, pero por lo demás es una económica, puede resultar frágil como mencioné.

No problems with pairing on an android device. Feels nice to type with. The keys make a bit of noise which I like, but each to their own.

Mit der Tastatur bekommt man genau was man erwartet. Es handelt sich hierbei um eine kleine Tastatur, die sich per Bluetooth mit kompatiblen Endgeraeten verbindet. Daten: * Abmessungen: 28.4 x 12 x 2.3 cm * Layout: US QWERTY * Batterien: 2x AAA (nicht enthalten) Die Tastatur verfuegt ueber Gumminoppen auf der Rueckseite, durch die sie rutschfest aufsteht. Das Batteriefach ist in einem ca. 1cm hervorstehenden Block untergebracht, der fuer einen zum Schreiben angenehmen Winkel sorgt. Allerdings leidet hier die Mobilitaet, da sich die Tastatur aus diesem Grund eher schlecht in kleinen Tablet Taschen unterbringen laesst. Die Tasten haben eine angenehme Groesse, das Tastenfeld ist nur einen knappen cm kleiner als das meiner Cherry Desktop Tastatur. Der Abstand der Tasten sorgt fuer treffsicheres Tippen. Die Tasten selbst haben einen Anschlagsweg von geschaetzt etwas ueber einem mm und einen leichten Widerstand, was sich zumindest fuer mich recht gut anfuehlt. Die Tastenbeschriftungen entsprechen denen auf dem Produktbild. Die Zusatztasten auf den Funktionstasten funktionieren auf meinem Surface Pro Tablet zur Zeit nicht, diejenigen auf den Pfeiltasten allerdings schon. Beim ersten Verbinden hat jedoch alles funktioniert. Die Batterieleuchte leuchtet kurz gruen auf, wenn die Tastatur eingeschaltet wird (und beim Herstellen der Bluetooth Verbindung), sonst aber nicht. Wahrscheinlich wird sie bei niedrigem Ladestand aufleuchten. Ueber die Dauer einer Batterieladung kann ich aufgrund der kurzen Benutzung noch nichts berichten. Auf dem Produktbild sieht die Tastatur meiner Meinung nach etwas hochwertiger aus, was an der Gehaeusefarbe liegt. Es ist auf dem Bild schwer zu erkennen, aber es handelt sich um silber gefaerbtes Plastik; die Farbe wird vor allem an den Kanten wohl recht schnell verschwinden. Das schwarze Modell koennte diesbezueglich leicht hochwertiger erscheinen. Fuer den Preis bin ich allemal zufrieden, da ich mir eigentlich nicht mehr erwarten konnte und auch nicht viel Verbesserungsbedarf besteht. Sehr froh bin ich ueber das US Layout, das man hierzulande leider recht selten findet.

I ordered this keyboard as a main external for my Macbook, which is malfunctioning and has missing keys, and as an accessory for my iPad from to time. I haven't tested it with the iPad yet, but I love using it with my Macbook. As a writer, social media person, developer and just someone who types alot - and really fast - I love the flow of it. The keys are light, and flat without being too flat and my fingers glide across it with ease. It does have a tap-tap sound which I do not mind, but it is quieter, more efficient and smoother than my other USB keyboard. And much more compact, able to fit easily inside a laptop bag or even a purse. The keys on my USB keyboard were also pretty heavy and made typing feel like a chore, so this new keyboard has actually increased my productivity and happiness. My only complaint is that it requires AAA batteries which felt archaic, and also meant I was not able to use right out the box. The batteries were pretty affordable in my country (J$150 or about $1.25) and I was happy to see the keyboard automatically shuts off when idle and reboots/reconnects when you type a key. Very useful. I give it a 5/5 and battery life a 4/5 only because I know replacing batteries will be less convenient then charging. Then again, charging can be a hassle too so it feels good to just power on and go. I recommend most definitely to anyone.

First impressions - Easy to set up and works as a keyboard for both my moto G3 phone and my new Kindle. Keyboard is really nice to use, keys have a good feel when typing. I will update this review if I have anything to add after using it more. Premières impressions - Facile à mettre en place et fonctionne comme un clavier à la fois pour mon portable (moto G3) et mon nouveau Kindle Fire . Clavier est vraiment agréable à utiliser , les touches ont une bonne sensation lors de la frappe . Je mettrai à jour cet avis si je dois quelque chose à ajouter après l'utilisation de plus .
