Review: Wow. The throttle response is very much improved. I can't speak to any HP gain and too early to tell about any MPG change but worth it alone for the throttle response. Installation was very straight-forward with the only suggestion being that the weatherstripping that goes along the top edge of the box would be easier to install if a small channel was cut around the top and the weatherstripping could lock into that. The parts are of very high quality with the filter especially impressive. Review: I expected some increased hp and throttle response with a CAI, especially at 40-50 mph... where the benefit really kicks in. I have had CAI on my last 3 cars, and thought I knew what I was buying... The two things I did NOT expect: 1) the fact that instead of kicking in once a while on a rainy day my traction control engages just about every time the turbos spool while I take a corner hard... and now- even with AWD, I can turn off the traction control and spin all 4 tires from a dead stop and while taking a fast corner. 2) My average MPG over the last 2000 miles has been 20.9--- up from 19.7 in the (about) 5000 miles prior- and this is with all the extra heavy pedal work I've been doing in order to hear the growl it added and get the "drifting rush" through corners...
