Buy Whole Foods Online Almonds Whole, 1kg

These Californian Almonds are very reasonably priced (around £11 when I purchased them) and eligible for Amazon Prime which eliminates the £2.99 delivery fee that this brand usually charges.The nuts are good quality, there were no 'soggy' nuts that another reviewer mentions but there were one or two 'duds' which I class as almonds which are more chewy than crunchy which I had to throw away. The mass majority of these almonds were firm, crunchy, with a good skin and fresh taste. Every now and then you would get a very strong Marzipan flavour from these nuts, which I'm not sure is a good or a bad thing reading where this flavour comes from (Benzaldehyde) but I actually like this. All in all, a good price for a kilo of nuts. I will be returning.

I try to eat moderately sensibly and as such try to pick snacks that won't turn me into a middle aged balloon. Nuts are the answer for me as I like them and as long as they are not salted, very healthy. It means that when I get my evening munchies after a day's work I won't reach for a bar of chocolate.But... By gum nuts are expensive in supermarkets. I mean eye watering sometimes. So, I buy online and in bulk. Which, brings me to these. I tend to buy a load of different types of nuts and then mix them up in a big box for ease of grabbing and I always have almonds in the mix.These are fresh tasting and as they still have the skins on I believe a little bit healthier. They have not been messed around too much and of course no salt.Bottom line is that these are great tasting and fair priced almonds ideal for snacking or use in home cooking especially as they are not salted.

I can't say they are the absolute best I have ever had, they're medium to small sized almonds and they taste like almonds. The ones I used to buy from the two prominent supermarkets were Asian brands (Natco/Eastend) who do really nice large almond that feels more fulfilling but these are cost effective with free delivery hence why I will buy more of these when I run out. Although size is my issue, this is my second pack... There will of course be more in future, I will just have to eat more and get fat haha

Second time I have purchased these from this seller and have them as a subscribe and save item.Good quality, well packaged. The nuts themselves I use for making my own almond milk, meal and spread. Although I make milk every week this large bag lasts a long time. I had been spending a lot on the small 125/150g bags in the supermarket which aren't cheap. Overall this is value for money for a far superior product.Very happy with purchase hence the re-order/subscribe & save. Cannot compare to other sellers/product on Amazon as only previously purchased from supermarkets.Hope this helps.

I don't understand the bad reviews, mine are clean and they taste great! I use them only to make almond milk and with the pulp I make muffins or bread. They are not too big or too small and they definitely aren't soft and stale like some have mentioned... I paid £8 when I got them, now they've increased the price to £11 which is a bummer but would repurchase again unless I find cheaper somewhere else! :)

The media could not be loaded. I was fed up of paying high prices for pure nut butter so wanted to make my own. These are perfect and taste good. Simply roast for 10 minutes and blend or roast and snack on. The sky’s the limit.

WOW! I ordered late in the day but these arrived the next morning. Fantastic taste and I asked Mr Google what the correct portion size was, turns out to be 23. A quick snack left me feeling full and the taste was great as well as being super good for you. I can't recommend this product or company highly enough, will certainly be using them again. I really like almonds and have been buying almonds from several amazon suppliers for a while. I like to try new suppliers. But sometimes get bad surprises.Zeinas raw almonds are so far the best.I've tried- Zeina- Pink Sun- Chandras- Whole foodsThey are in order of best to worst.Whole Foods one was the worst ever, they tasted old and mouldy. Had to give them to the animals.Chandras are good and tasty but once in a while you get a bitter rotten almonds which stays in your mouth for a while... like 1 in every 50 almondsPink Sun are good as tasty, but like Chandras have occasionally a bitter rotten one, like 1 or 2 per kg.Zeinas taste is the best so far. Plus I haven't caught a single bad tasting almonds in all the 5 kgs I've bought. For me it's a winner.Maybe you will have better luck with whole foods almonds than me.
