Does it grind coffee beans?

It does but I wouldn't wear out the chopper on coffee beans. Better to buy a coffee grinder, I've had one for 20 years and it does both coffee and herbs if you chop some bread in it after use the small/taste is cleared out.

Is it easy to remove the attachments? Do attachments unclick easily or do you need to apply a lot of pressure? Help a concerned elderly person decide.

I have arthritis in my hands and find using them easy and they pull apart easily. Only problem I have with it is when I am using the blender, ie that you have to hold down the control button all the time. If I am really sore I get hubby to blend!

Can I buy a large bowl to go with it

The main advantage of this blender is it is portable and you can take it to any bowl you like.
