What is the shelf life of this butter? When will it expire?

It will not expire. For at least a couple of years. Butter does not go bad easily. However read my review on this product, as I strongly dislike it. It had a very chemical smell. Be alert for fake reviews. This product is on Amazon starting 3 ya, and only after my bad review a bunch of positive reviews came out.

Is this food-grade edible?

No, it is not edible. It says clearly on the container 'do not consume'. It is the same for all the butters that I have purchased from this company. I believe they are all meant for cosmetic use.
