Obsessed with Mystic Moments now!
I am absolutely delighted with this starter pack; so much so, that I have gone on to purchase three more combinations. Having wasted a considerable amount of money on Yankee Candles, and being disappointed with the lack of scent/throw, I decided to give these a whirl. These are amazing when used in an oil burner, and they fill your room with olfactory bliss! I have also been using them in those cheap, 8 hour burn tealight candles and while you need to add a few more drops to get a decent throw, they work splendidly, if like me you just love to watch candles burn. It's really simple too - light candle until it begins to pool; blow out candle and drop in your chosen scent. Allow wax to dry, then relight and give it around 20, minutes to start releasing aroma. Now onto the scents themselves:Baby Powder: This one is definitely a crowd pleaser; it's clean, sweet and angelic much like the name suggests. It's also the strongest scent in the pack, and I find I need to use a minimal amount of drops to get it to fill the room. It's persistent too, because even the following morning we could still smell reminents of the powdery aroma.Hot Apple Pie: Warm and sweet, and kind of "baked goodsy". My son said it smells like gingerbread and my husband agreed. We all enjoyed this scent; however it has a subtle throw, so you may need to use more drops if you want it to smell stronger.Fresh Linen: This oil let's off about the right amount of scent, and while it doesn't smell bad in any way it's our least favourite scent. It sort of smells "grassy" to me and clean. My husband said that to him, it smelled of laundry detergent or a bathroom airfreshner. Neither of us disliked it, but it wasn't as pleasant as the others.Coffee: Initially, I wasn't that excited about my whole house smelling of coffee, but I was really pleasantly surprised! It's actually a lovely coffee scent that makes me think of Cake shops for some reason. This one is quite strong and definitely long lasting. I used it in the lounge only and my hubby could smell it when he walked through the front door.Jasmine: This one is really pretty, the right "strength" and I'm really looking forward to mixing this one up with Vanilla and Pear because I think it will smell gorgeous! However, it is a beautiful stand alone fragrance in its own right! Probably my second favourite after Baby Powder. To summarise, I think this starter pack is amazing value as the bottles will last a long time. It will also save me a ton of money as I'll never buy scented candles again! Will be purchasing more as gifts, and if your thinking of taking a chance on a pack then I would thoroughly recommend.

Better than a lot of other brands.
Preface: I've tested each fragrance at varying amounts of drops, using a 300ml diffuser, before leaving this review.I've tried three sets from this brand and this one is the best so far. Hot Apple Pie is awful, to me anyway. It smells nice from the bottle and for the first ten minutes in the diffuser but quickly turns into a strange sickly smell with a very chemically undertone. In another set, Baked Apple does exactly the same. I guess they both use the same ingredient that produces this strange background note, which is more like burnt fake cinnamon maybe? You can smell the apple but whatever the other layer of fragrance is doesn't complement the apple at all. Of course, this is just my opinion and fragrance preferences are of course very subjective. However, I have a LOT of oils and other apple dessert ones I have don't have this problem, so something to be aware of all the same.Otherwise, Baby Powder is fantastic, is one of my favourite fragrances anyway and the main reason I bought this set. Coffee fragrances can be hit-and-miss but the one in this set is really nice, not quite coffee-shop nice, but still nice. Fresh Linen is different to several other fresh linens I have and is better in my opinion, one of the most balanced I've used so far - some can be a bit chemically. Jasmine isn't one of my preferred fragrance types anyway but is nice all the same, compared to several others I've tried over the last year that have been awful or had no scent throw, this one is nice and gentle and throws quite well, quite relaxing actually.I paid £7.95 for this set and at this price I'll be back for another set once I've run out of Baby Powder.

A good value starter pack.
The mystic moments essential oils are sold by their description to be used with soaps, candles or hair and skin products.I personally have been using this particular mystic moments product now for about 10 days with my oil diffuser. I found that mystic moments had the fragrances that I particularly wanted to try. The Fragrances of the orchard fruits contains Green apple, cherry, pear, lemon lime and tangerine. This comes as a smart starter gift set and would make a nice present or a good purchase for yourself.I would say that all of the fragrances smell of the intended fruit names. This is how I would personally put them in order of my own choice first. 1. Green apple which smells of green apples, 2. Cherry which I personally would say smells very similar to a cherry Bakewell, 3. Tangerine which smells like freshly peeled tangerines, 4. Lemon lime which once again smells like freshly peeled lemons and lime,5. Pear which smells very similar to pear. Are usually dripping between 10 and 20 drops of the essential oil fragrance I particularly want to choose into the tank of my oil diffuser which has around the 200 mL of water, but please remember this is my personal choice of fragrance strength. It’s nice to have a different choice of fragrances to go with the oil diffuser and I am well satisfied that I have tried and tested all of the mystic moments Orchard fruits. I would also say that these mystic moments 10 mL bottles seem to drip a lot better than my previous different seller of essential oils. I am well satisfied with this Orchard fruits starter pack.
