This does the job well, it is easy to set up nominating any button for any action brilliant. I set mine up for all the simple functions of my sound system, dvd player, and tv, using the learning method which was easy to understand and simple to do. It’s a good looking remote so easy on the eye and comfortable in your hand, I would recommend this to anyone and at the price I paid £10 I reckon it was a bargain.

Set it up with Sony TV remote OK, no problems. Will keep it for my mother for the simplicity and big buttons. However, couldn't set it up with Sky Q Touch remote. That's not the reason for the 1 star though. I tried twice to contact "customer services" for help using 2 different options on the automated switchboard and was put through to One For All gift cards. Therefore no customer service. That's the reason for 1 star.

Bought it for my Dad who is 92 and struggling with the full Virgin TV remote. Does all the basics well. Doesn’t do fwd or rwd but he doesn’t use that anyway. Controls TV Virgin Box and soundbar. Only criticism is the cursor keys are all black and difficult to read if you have poor vision.

Very easy to setup. Great compact size and enough buttons for basic functions to replace three remotes. Works well with our Toshiba TV, free sat Humax box and Goodmans sound bar. Took about one minute to setup TV and Freesat using pre programmed codes and two mins to get the sound bar volume working using the learning function. Recommended for simplicity.

Programming is not too difficult however the bigger issue is the number buttons are too light so when you enter a number eg channel 2 it ends up as 22 this is a pain for my 86 year old mother in law. However it is simpler than the satellite and TV remotes

I needed a simple learning remote to operate my tv hdmi selector system. This one learns from any existing original ir remote so you can end up with a 'mix' of signals from several different remotes If required (only one signal for each button) from unpacking to full working took about 15 mins.

UCR6820. Didn't work at all for my LG television and Humax HDR100S Freesat box. There are three ways to program it - hold down a button whilst the remote tries all the codes it knows, enter the codes yourself, or make the remote 'learn' from your existing ones. Trouble is, my existing remote is broken! First two methods didn't work at all and life is too short to faff around with the third. Going back to Amazon.

Brilliant, love it. Have this controlling my TV, Amp and Apple TV so replaces three remotes and is much easier to use. It's also super easy to learn buttons from existing remotes, takes a couple of minutes to set up then its good to go.Bit annoying though that you have to unscrew the back to replace the batteries and really? - I don't know what the point of the wrist strap is?
