Great classic favourite
A classic toy that both my boys absolutely loved!! Popular even now weeks on from purchase and can take the battering of a toddler who tries to use it himself

Fun for singing together
Love this item. My daughter just loves playing with it! Enjoys singing along to all the songs and having a good old dance. Lovely item.

Great toy
Bought for my 2 year old to stop him wrecking our vinyls. He loves this toy and spends every morning playing his favourite tunes and having a boogie. He can use it independently too. He also still wrecks our vinyls.

Great iconic player
Brilliant, never ages. Children love this my grandson included. Has his favourite tunes and knows which to choose due to colourwhich helps in their growth.

Nostalgia!
Bought for my granddaughter. Brings back memories, I had one exactly the same 50 years ago. Child unable to wind up themself so you have to keep doing it for them! Very sturdy and unbreakable.

Cracking good toy
I loved having one of these when I was a child, so I was really pleased to be able to get one of these for my granddaughter.It comes with 5 different records to play, which are double sided. Small storage area for records next to the handle.The record player uses both batteries and wind up to work.Still a cracking good toy.

Not the original toy
Looking at the top of the toy, it looks as sturdy as the original toy. It’s not. The flap closing the storage place for the discs is flimsy and I can see any child removing that in five minutes. Why batteries? Half the fun was winding it up to make the music! Why make the arm so stiff to move? Adult assistance is going to be needed here, for sure. On the plus side, the discs are plentiful and the tunes are lovely. They are better when they stop because they go on and on and on and…. The volume control is great but most toddlers have the attention span of a gnat if they can’t stop and start a tune at will. In short, I regret buying this. Fisher-Price, dig out the old specs. and make future ones according to the tested and true version. I’ve fortunately been able to source a vintage one which is still going as new despite its age and that speaks for itself.
