Perfect grind. This masa is perfect for making tamales. I make them every year...savory and sweet and this is the masa I use.

I am a New Mexico ex-pat, and have used Maseca flour for years to bring a bit of authenticity to my cooking here in Ireland. It is easy to get great results, and tastes like the 'real thing'!

I probably make a few dozen tacos a week. I've used multiple brands, and saw this one popup so I bought some. Seeing the reviews saying how it is so authentic, and close to how they're at home (Mexico) I felt like I'd be robbing myself if I didn't - and it just so happened that my usual go-to maize flour had just run out (P.A.N).So.. it isn't for me. It is a very earthy savoury taste that to be honest isn't very nice.I'm sure some people love it, but with an already incredibly savoury moreish carnita filling this on top is just too much.I'll be going back to P.A.N I think, this stuff will be going in the bin.
