Suprisingly good
Had a bad leak on main seal VW 1.6 aircooled. I could have dropped engine and changed seal but thought I would try as cheap easy alternative. Didnt expect much but it suprised me. Stopped leak after about 30 miles and 5000 later still no sign of the leak. Due another oil change now so lets see if it still holds out. Give it a try if only to buy some time. RECOMMEND 👍

... drips more than the odd bit of oil just like all the Series Land Rovers do
I used this in the engine oil of my 1982 Series 3 Land Rover which drips more than the odd bit of oil just like all the Series Land Rovers do. It does appear to have made a difference but hasn't stopped the leaks completely. I didn't expect it to make much difference but I thought I'd try it out and was pleasantly surprised that there was a perceived improvement.Don't kid yourself that this will cure major oil leaks, as it won't, but it may revitalise old seals that have taken up a compression set. This product apparently works by swelling the oil seal and the engine has to be run for a couple of hundred miles for it to take effect. It won't fix split or damaged oil seals.Overall, well worth a try on minor oil leaks. Don't expect miracles on major leaks.

Works
Had a small but persistent leak forming on the gearbox to engine seal so bought this in case it was an engine issue and another product for the gearbox. Leak stopped within 200 miles. Also served as an excuse to change oils in both engine and gearbox. Let's see how long it lasts but as I couldn't find the leak visually, I assume it was some sort of internal o ring or seal? This stuff apparently reacts with the rubber material and makes it more pliable? Anyway hopefully good for the 12 months I plan to have the vehicle and no expensive repairs needed. I did also mix some Lucas stabiliser which is also awesome

Disappointed – Didn’t Stop the Leak
I had high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. I followed the instructions carefully and gave it time to take effect, but the oil leak in my engine continued just as before. There was no noticeable improvement, and I ended up having to book a proper repair. It might work for very minor leaks, but in my case, it didn’t deliver.Disappointing result, especially considering the claims. Wouldn’t buy again.
