Uniter of Ice!
This was the first of the 2016 wave I brought (partly because it was the only one out at the time haha) and what a great introduction to the new wave! I really enjoyed the set and was thrilled when Kopaka arrived. At the time I brought it, it was original £19.99 which was the official price but of course it is a retired set now. The set itself is great, currently on display for me. I found the build easy enough, with the creature unchallenging but good enough for its general purpose. Kopaka was an interesting build. Really like his new shield and love the new dual sword of ice! I like where the design is going, trying to get them to be unique and Kopaka sets that trend. My only two negatives are that I would have liked a few more pieces of armour and that the character seems to have changed his dominate hand to left? Meh only one negative haha. A great figure and worth adding to your Bionicle collection!

A Great Set showcasing the best of both words and Bionicle at its finest.
This is a great set with a really fun build. Combining the Lego Technic Building System (that defined much of Bionicle G1, especially the early years) with the CCBS Building System so fluently well. If anything it makes it more of the shame that so many poor decisions were made and that Bionicle G2 was prematurely cancelled, for as this set shows it could have become something really great.I also like the fact that his Unity Creature was included in the set, I think that not only does it better justify his price tag (both his current and initial release tag), it also adds more to the set and makes it more fun to play with. It's better than just paying for another set just for the unity gimmick. They should've done this with the other Toa that were released that year. Anyway, great set, glad I bought it!

Huge fun
This is huge compared to the other bionicle we already have in this range and my so was thrilled with it. It still is being played with. It's not too hard to build and educational because of the cogs mechanisms. For the price I thought it was very good value compared to other lego.

Bionicle 71311 was bought for an 8 year old grandson who thoroughly enjoys putting the pieces together and has had great fun with a 19 year old grandson who, in years gone by, had a large collection of bionicles but still enjoys playing with his younger cousin.

Meh.
Cool look but overall meh. The Bionicles have been slipping in quality. Between the torso swiveling randomly and the badly designed arms I'm not very impressed with this.
