These are really simple to use and easy to read for women tracking their ovulation for the first time. You put one of the sticks into the device, dip it, replace the cap and leave it flat. After a few minutes, you get a result: an empty circle means you are not yet in your fertile period, a flashing smiley means you are approaching your fertile period, and a solid smiley face means that you are about to ovulate within the next day or so. You test once a day until you get the solid smiley. The solid smiley stays in place for two days to cover the likely ovulation period, then disappears. You don't have to test again until next cycle. All you need to know is that when the flashing smiley appears, it's a good time to start having regular sex if you want to conceive. When the solid smiley appears, it’s a great time to have sex and you should aim to do so to maximize your chances. Once the test goes blank, you have left or are leaving your fertile period and you are unlikely to get pregnant by having sex. I have found these to be accurate predictors of the fertile period and ovulation: I’ve used these for 4 months alongside tradition ‘cheapie’ ovulation tests, BBT temping, and other methods of detecting ovulation, and the results line up perfectly with other results. These tests CANNOT tell you if you have actually ovulated or not – that is not what they are for. Nor can they pinpoint the moment or even the day of ovulation, as this is very difficult to do. What they will tell you (by analysing the rise in your hormones) is that your body is preparing for ovulation, so that you can identify your fertile period and know when it is best to have sex. If you already know when your fertile period is and you’re having regular sex throughout the month, you don’t necessarily need these. They are expensive to buy, and you cannot buy extra sticks without buying a new pack which comes with a new device (which is a bit annoying). However, I was happy to pay the price for these because of how easy and simple they are to use and because I trust their accuracy. It is important to follow the instructions carefully, as well start using them at the right time. You don't want to start testing in the middle of your fertile period, as you need to test for at least one day before so the reader can get a baseline. You don't want to start testing from the first day of your cycle either, as that will be a waste of sticks and money. The pack's instructions will suggest the best time to start testing, and the free app can also help with this. I don’t buy these anymore because I have become comfortable with reading the cheapie sticks and other bodily signs of fertility, so I don’t feel I need them. However – if anything strange starts happening with my cycle or fertility signs, and ovulation becomes confusing to detect, I would start using them again.

These tests are very useful for detecting your earlier fertile window but I do think cheapie LH strips are just as good for detecting peak. There is a lot of misunderstanding in the poorer reviews about how to use them. I want to start by start by saying that the low reviews referring to using their husband’s urine or dipping it in water and still having a flashing smiley are misunderstanding how these tests work. The first day you test is always negative, which is why it’s important to start before your fertile window. This measures a baseline from which it can detect an estrogen surge (flashing smiley) and an LH surge (static smiley). Once it has detected an estrogen surge and you have flashing smiley, it will display this UNTIL you have a LH surge and it changes to a static smiley. The static smiley will then stay on the screen for 48 hours because there is no need to test after this point. Because if this, once you have a flashing smiley, you can dip it in whatever you want and it will continue to flash a smiley. It will not measure any drop in estrogen because it’s not designed to do that. It is assuming that once it has detected your estrogen rise, that it will continue to do so until your LH surge. I think these tests are great for detecting your early fertile window, but in my case I wondered if it started flashing too soon. I got 5 days of flashing smiley before the 48 hours of static. If I’m not pregnant this month we will maybe wait until a couple of days into the flashing smiley before having sex as we tired ourselves out! Perhaps alternate days during flashing smiley would suffice next time. If you have very regular periods, I wouldn’t spend your money on these. If your periods are a little irregular (mine are 28-32 days) they are very useful for pinning down your fertile window for that month. I will definitely buy these again. EDIT - I just wanted to add that after 16 cycles I am pregnant this cycle! I’ve had an early loss before so it may not work out but I’ll be ordering these again if it doesn’t.

If you want to know your most accurate days, this is definitely the right choice!"

Second box I’ve bought where the device has broken. The first box the device stopped working where I wasn’t even half way through the box of test strips. Second box, the device stopped working after the second day. I did not get the device wet and used it exactly as the instructions specified. Huge waste of money.

Easy to use - when testing a smiley face comes up to indicate your most fertile days - no guessing with lines etc. For me it was fantastic to get a gauge of fertile days after irregular cycles while on birth control, and ended up pregnant pretty quickly! If you know your cycle well then 10 tests is enough, however, if you have an irregular cycle then the 30 tests is a better option. The only downside is they are very pricey so not sure how sustainable they are to use long term.

I was impressed by the ease of use ofbthese tests, so simple to use and really helped me identify my fertile days. I loved the addition of a pregency test to allow me to test without having to buy a separate product. It has clear and easy to follow instructions and the app on the QR code makes it very convenient to track. The digital reader is simple to read and very effective.

I tested the 30 ovulation tests item. It’s good because there are so many tests that you can use, which is really good for people who have fertility issues as this product is accurate and can help pinpoint when is the best time to try for a child. The instructions are easy and it is clear with a smiley face when it is your ovulation window. I even have loads to gift to my friends who are trying for a baby.

These tests are brilliant for working out your fertile days - no more testing and guessing the results mean, these ones make it so clear with the smiley faces! Nice touch to include a pregnancy test as well, to hopefully reward your month of tracking ovulation. Just one note - the product photo shows one box with both the pregnancy test and ovulation tests in and “11” at the bottom. But I actually recieved a box of 10 tests and a separate pregnancy test. Not a problem at all as I still recieved exactly what I ordered, so I’m happy - it’s just slightly different packaging from what’s shown on the product photo!

Great to have a clear indicator of fertile window, easier to read than strip tests.

Der Test kam gut verpackt pünktlich bei mir zuhause an. Die Qualität von Clearblue überzeugt mich...nachdem wir schon mehrere Produkte ausprobiert haben (Ovulationstest etc) Leider kam nicht das gewünschte Ergebnis raus

Falsche produkt war geschickt. Ich habe die billiger Digital Ovulationstest mit rosa stabchen packung, die sucht nur LH nicht Estrogen auch. Die bilder und bescriebung sund fur die Digital ADVANCED Ovulationstest die sucht ZWEI hormonen, LH und AUCH Estrogen, mit lila stabchen/packung, und gibt me 4 Tagen von High vor mein Peak. Ich liebe diese Advanced test, weil nur mit dem kann in 5 Tagen vorher wissen wenn mein Eisprung wurden passieren. Aber die NICHT Advanced Digital test ist fur mich total nutzlos. Ich kriege fast nie ein positiven Resultat und denn ist view zu spat zu fang an mit sex. Uber 30€ bezahlt fur nichts.
