Russell Hobbs 3-in-1 Sandwich Panini and Waffle Maker 20930, 750 W - Black

I am a sucker for a toasted sandwich. I used to have these a lot when I was younger and recently I've been really wanting to make them again. The only thing that put me off was remembering how hard it was to clean sandwich toasters. However, the sandwich toaster comes with removable plates and my God is it easy to clean. You get 3 removable plates 1 for toasted sandwiches,grill pan and 1 waffle maker. The machine itself is nice and compact and very easy to use. The first time using the machine we did get quite a lot of smoke however the second time I used it this had all gone so I presume this was just what happens when its new. This is just a brilliant bit of machinery and I love it I must have for anyone who is looking for sandwich toaster that easy to clean

It's OK. Has 3 compartments that click on and pop off when button is suppressed, for changing from the corner cheese sandwich maker, grill for grilled cheese or meat and waffle maker. Removing the 3 different cooking trays makes it easy to wash. As far as cooking with this goes it does it's job, cooking time is slightly longer than stated. Handy in the fact you have 3 different types of cooking in one but not massively impressed. The cheese toasty ends up leaking down the sides of toaster where the element heater is and gets messy, feels a bit flimsy and difficult to clean as cheeses goes down back and in between difficult to reach hinge.

This is an excellent machine which make perfect toasted sandwiches as well as panninis in very quick times. Not used the waffle plates as yet but value for money even if you don't ever use that functionEasy to clean because the different plates that come with it detach and are non stick as you would expect.Upright storage is more useful than I thought it would be too.A very good all round purchase

I have ordered and now returned three of these items. The 3-in-1 aspect was why I purchased, but unfortunately, Russell Hobbs have designed a terrible mechanism to make this possible. The item comes with the Sandwich Maker plates already fitted. There are then in the bottom of the box a set of two Panini/Grill plates and a set of two Waffle plates. On the actual unit there is a catch release on the top and bottom. Pushing this down should release the plate in place. The first one I received, the bottom release simply didn't work. Pushed in, and nothing happened. The second unit I received, neither top nor bottom worked. The third I received, all seemed fine until first use. Fitted Grill/Panini plates and after cooking, the bottom catch release stopped working. Its a shame as I think the idea is excellent, but surely this is just very poor design by Russell Hobbs.

I ordered this as a replacement for our old sandwich maker. My daughter wanted a panini toaster and waffle maker and saw this 3 in 1 at much the same price as a big standard sandwich maker. And so far I love it. So easy to clean. I hadn’t realised the grill plates could be used for anything other than bread until it arrived. Just had a perfectly cooked tuna steak in under 5 mins - healthy, quick and delicious!! It’s great so far.

Super little machine. Great toasted sandwiches with the sandwich plates and the grill plates make great paninis also. Three different plate types are very easy to change over in seconds and easy to clean. Haven't tried the waffle plates yet.

Amazing for paninis, only 3 minutes to cook one delicious panini made either from normal white bread or white toast bread, really perfect for quick evening meal. I wanna try wraps with it, Im sure they will be perfect ! It's amazing that it has got waffle plate - looking forward to use it !Strongly recommend this sandwich maker, so easy to clean after soaking dirty plates in warm tap water for 5 minutes. Amazing product !

We've bought this encouraged by its description and many positive comments but unfortunately I'm rather disappointed. Sandwich plates perform best out of all three sets. As some other users I also had a problem with melted cheese leaking underneath the plates which is a bit of a pain to clean. Grill plates are OK and do their job. The worst ones are the waffles plates - not sure why but we cannot get them to work properly. It seems that the temperature is not high enough and waffles don't rise and are dense. Even after 10 minutes waffles are still pale and don't get crispy.Additionally you can see steam gathering inside the control light which screams poor quality. I think I will be returning this item.
