Did the job intended for

The nickel plating on these hingers is very thin--both are rusting after less than a week in use. Also, I do not recommend these hinges for any weight over 5 lbs.

These are very weak and won’t even hold a keyboard tray. They felt really strong when I took them out of the package but don’t be fooled, once you screw them in they fold down very easily. Won’t hold the tray all the way at 180 degrees and falls down with very little pressure. Solidly made though and look to be high quality.
