The nib of this grout pelt is like a felt tip marker so you do need to be gentle in how you use it or else like other reviews have said, it will shred. Don't press down too hard either else the product will pour and drip out and you will risk pushing the nib into the casing. Just be slow, gentle and patient in how you use it and it will work well.Where you have really dark badly stained grout, you will have to apply it 2 or 3 times. My grout was very badly, deeply stained as its a very small bathroom shower-room with very high moisture and the bathroom fitter didn't come back to seal my grout/ tiles till some 3 weeks on (was meant to be next day then queue tonnes of rubbish excuses) and by then, the new grout had already started staining. So this was my first option rather than having the grout scraped out and re-done as I don't have time for all that hassle. (Did get a partial refund on the job in the end but I digress...)My advice is - clean and dry your tiles and grout, use this in a thin layer all the way around, wait for it to dry and then go back over it again in another layer. My grout finally looks respectable!As for coverage it's hard to advise on this. Obviously the more grout you have, the more you will need. My bathroom is 2m x 3m and the tiles are the large rectangular ones so less grout than a room with the small standard tiles so for me, one pen went all around this room twice and there's still some left in it.All in all, it works! Excellent!

Great for making a tired rental bathroom into something worth bathing in! You don’t get a lot of paint in one pen, so had to buy three to do a whole bathroom which isn’t massive. Left hand side of the picture is touched up, right hand side is without the application. Noticeable difference so am satisfied.

Well worth £4, managed to do all my tiles around the bath with one pen. Makes such a difference!

Works, easy to use. But not a lot of fluid in them. Got through 4 pens. Still not did the area it was supposed to do.

Old looking, discoloured grouts are white again.The pen is easy to use, compact (in fact, you might misplace it easily).Make sure the grout is clean, moudless and dry first. I cleaned it with some grout cleaner and the dried for a while as well as with a blow dryer to be sure.Just shake it, prime it by pushing it on some cardboard and then gently go over the grout, one even stroke.I did not really press, I coloured the grout and it came out clean, white with not leaks. The tip is not thick and the liquid flows nice and consistent.I couldn't believe it, after all the products I had tried, this one worked.It says to repeat after an hour, but my first pass was already fine. Amazing little product.

Good white finish. Very easy to apply. Only covered a small area. Had to order 2 extra tubes just to treat a downstairs toilet but the result looks good.

I bought this item because the reviews were fantastic and the video reviews of people using the pen looked straight forward and simple and looked like it worked very well however my pen did not paint the way the video reviews did, the ink would stop half way and if I went over the same line the product would wipe itself away leaving streak lines like a whiteboard marker. I’m not sure why mine turned out this way and others look great but will not buy again, it didn’t the job after 3 hours of hard work which should have been 30 minutes max

Easy to use BUT the pen tip wears out fast

Before using make sure to follow instructions. Initially nib would be dry, you need to press against a hard surface, so that the nib goes in breaking the seal and the white paint fills up the nib and then you can start using it. Everytime you feel the nib is dry you need to repeat this step. 7ml is less and costly. Maybe better to buy a white paint and a small brush and repaint the Grout.

I went over some grout lines which now look so much better.

Works very well! I needed to go over it again a week later, but after that, the grout in my shower looks so much better.
