Skypak90L Folding Travel Bag - Black

It is a second one of Skypack 90L I bought because I lent it to my father and liked it so much that I gave him my first one. He uses it for carrying things for his golfing trip.It folds up neatly and easily into itself, so it is very easy to tidy it away when it is not in use. The material, despite being light-weight, is extremely sturdy and even rough handling by airlines has not caused any damage.The capacity is rather high, being about the same as a large-ish suitcase. But being able to fold it up neatly also means it is great to keep in the suitcase as a backup bag.If you are weight-restricted for airline checked baggage, it will also be useful as it's lightweight yet high capacity.It's a very good bag with sturdy zips and sturdy material. So much so that I also bought a red one.

If you're looking for a very lightweight, resistant travel bag that is both capacious yet folds up into almost nothing, stop right here. I can't imagine you could want anything more from this very handy, well designed holdall, with its large 90 litre capacity. Obviously it won't resist the handling that sometimes happens in today's airports when the odd gorilla seems to have got loose, but it will certainly do an admirable job for overland traveling. In addition, if you happen to live in a flat, then storage ceases to be a problem at journey's end. Last, but not least, it's a no brainer at the price.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas to replace a thirty year old bag which was used on board yachts. This bag is absolutely perfect for light weight travel. It's capacious,so he'll be able to get lots in it. The extra pockets on the outside are a good size and be very useful to hold all sorts of things, it looks smart, and also feels strong, but the biggest advantage is that it's featherweight, ideal for taking in a suitcase to hold all those extra holiday purchases on your return journey! and of course, it folds down to next to nothing, taking up hardly any space at all. Altogether an excellent product at a fair price.

Overall, I am a fan of these bags.I use them primarily for air travel. I have carried everything from light, bulky items (such as bedding, clothes) to large, heavier items (the bag is a perfect size for a baby travel cot). They work best when packed full or close to full.They compress to an incredibly small size, such that you won't notice them in your regular luggage (they will also fit comfortably in a regular size laptop bag).The material is lightweight but robust - it doesn't feel like it would tear easily. Likewise the seams are strong and don't feel like they will come apart.However, the zippers are of poor quality. The pull tabs and/or crowns are flimsy and break too easily (either when you are trying to close a very full bag or when it is being knocked about in transit). In my case, this has resulted in the sliders staying attached to the zippers so the bags are still usable, but it is an inconvenience. If the manufacturer would fit sturdy zips (for the main zip if nothing else), then this would be a five-star product.Complaints about the zip aside, I would recommend these bags (I am about to buy some more to replace the originals which are now in the hands of friends/family members). They are great for occasional air travel and ideal for loading in the boot/roof box when you want to avoid using rigid luggage.

Excellent service and good quality bag

I would have loved this bag if the zipper was not so flimsy. The bag is really spacious and lightweight. It's easily folded into a smallish pouch. Sadly, the zip broke on 2nd use (and I have been especially careful when zipping after reading some reviews about how flimsy they are). Wished the manufacturer had put better quality zip into these sort of bags as they are really good size for travelling.

This is exactly what I wanted, and so far I haven't found any serious faults. It has huge capacity (2 sleeping bags plus clothes for two people for a long weekend) but folds up into a handbag-sized package. I use it heavily and probably exceed its maximum carrying weight, but it isn't showing any signs of distress yet. The handles are made of strong nylon webbing that goes all the way round the bag, so they probably won't tear off easily. The fabric is surprisingly tough for such a reasonably priced product. The zipped outer pockets are a bonus but difficult to use, as they are squashed flat when the bag is full - if they were positioned on the flat ends of the bag they would be more useful. They could safely hold small items like keys, coins or receipts. The zipped inner pocket is more practical and could hold passports or wallets. The main zip doesn't feel very strong but still works fine after a few weeks' use. Highly recommended!
