Suffering from a moderate case of contact dermatitis at the moment and had atopic dermatitis my whole life long. So I'm really careful with what I put on my skin. After reading several articles about this product I thought I try it and so far so good. Only used it ones so far but my skin already feels so much more comfortable. Love how it sinks in quickly and doesn't leave much off a film (a little bit but doesn't feel tacky at all).Was concerned about the smell after reading several complaints on here but there's no scent at all. Not when it's in the bottle, nor when applied. I've got high hopes for it but am optimistic it will stand up to Aveeno's promises.

Always a great product and perfect for 7 year olds sensitive and dry skin. Great price.

Excellent product, keeps skin feeling soft and smooth all day

I was initially recommended this by my doctor as my hands were getting horribly dry. Typically you get prescribed a really greasy thick hand cream which is absolutely no good if you plan on doing anything for the next 30 minutes... So I went back to him and asked again, he recommended Aveeno as it's slightly more like a gel so it does absorb quicker.I've been using it at least three times daily and it's helped so much. It absorbs quite quickly once you've put the right amount on and leaves your hands feeling really soft and smooth. My only criticism would be it does smell a bit strange which I imagine is due to the fact it is oat based. However, you get used to it and it's not a strong smell, just one you're not used to straight away.I've started to use it on my face, as it is a general moisturiser, and again it feels so much better than your typical moisturiser because you don't have to sit around waiting for it to slowly absorb and end up with a greasy face.

This is my second bottle. It’s very gentle and soothing yet moisturising. Leaves skin smooth and supple. I actually have been using this all year around. Perfect for layering with another body butter in the winter too.It’s the first thing I apply on my skin after shower and have not had dry skin since. Highly recommend.

I thought I would give this a try as have tried many hand creams/lotions and been disappointed with them.This one seems a little thick to be called a lotion but somewhere in between lotion and cream.When I had the first squeeze, I thought there was a kind of mild marzipan aroma but it soon disappeared - the lotion absorbs really well and actually does feel lovely. I mainly use it on my hands but when I initially used it I tried it on my legs - my husband didn't know I had put the lotion on but when he came to touch my legs out of the blue he said ' your legs are lovely and soft!' That made me smile as it meant the cream had made a difference. 😀It is well priced and will go a long way. Definitely recommended and I will be buying again.

There's a lot of articles surrounding Phenoxyethanol that suggests it affects everyones skin, so it's only allowed in products in a 1% or less concentration which is fine, however, my face especially has a rather violent reaction to this ingredient, it took me years to figure out why.Once I'd figured out what was affecting me the next job was finding lotions and wipes that DIDN'T have this ingredient, by god this was hard, turns out almost everything has it in some capacity. Simple brand? Turns out they make their product in multiple locations, your bottle might say made in india, hungary, poland, or even england, and the polish one is the only one without phenoxyethanol in, requiring you to go to the store physically and scrutinize the (quite tiny) bottle everytime you want to make sure you don't react. Not ideal.Aveeno? None, at all, and actually when my skin broke out a few weeks back, and I was peeling and in pain, covering my face in aveeno in a desperate attempt to make my face stop feeling like it would crack open if I so much as smiled the skin was that tight, loosened my skin and stopped the peeling within 48 hours.I know this is a long review but I can not express how valuable Aveeno is for me in particular, and if you think you have an allergy to other lotions, or face wipes, it may very well be the phenoxyethanol, so try this (assuming the ingredients still don't include it) because if it works, it's worth more than gold.As for Aveeno, I beg of you to never change your recipe, it's a lifesaver for me.
