Philips S10-STARTER 10PK [Energy Class A]

bought 10 thought I would probably never get round to using them all but as they worked so well and were very reasonably priced I decided to change all the slow starters in the garage, wish I had bought these ages ago all the lights are now instant starters.

This was for a fluorescent strip light. The GE one we’d bought from an electrical wholesaler just wouldn’t fit, it was too big although supposedly the right item. So we’re now happy. Incidentally a Philips starter was what was in the light fitting originally, which is why we went for a Philips when the GE one wouldn’t go in.

Wowww !!! Tube light on in Seconds !!!!!Didnt try all of them in that price and the quality is awsome Philips are really goods on these.Hope all goes for long period.

It's just a starter for a light, so as long as it works which it does, that's all I can say really. Good value for money, arrived a couple of days late, but that is to be expected at the moment. Would buy again if we need any more. Thanks

I bought these nearly two years ago and they are still working perfectly. We don't use the lights all the time but often enough.These are a great purchase for the price.Id highly recommend.

These are the correct starter for a single fluorescent tube up to 65 watts. I am using them on 4ft 36 watt tubes.They start really fast, a massive improvement.I was using the Sylvania S11 universal starter from Screwfix but those do not work on many small units.Not all starters are the same!

On the face of it this appeared good value. However the starters were sent loose in a padded jiffy bag and were jostled around. I do not know if any were damaged in transit but the one I used was OK. The remainder remains to be seen. Not at all happy with the packing.
