IZTOSS 12-Slot Relay Box 5 Relays 6 Blade Fuses - Fuse Relay Box with Fuse and 4pins 12V 40A Relay for Automotive Marine and Boat

I am using this Iztoss 12-Slot Relay Box on a larger old lathe to transform it to work with a AC drive that runs the 3 phase motor and circuits. The lathe electronics were "gutted" completely removed and thus I had to rewire all the on-off and emergency stop features to work with the new AC drive unit.I mapped out all the wires/circuits for function, setup a test panel with terminals from all the relays and all the lathe circuit connections plus the AC drive connections and started using jumper wires to get the circuits to do what I wanted. Start, stop, reverse, emergency stop, safety shutoff when covers were removed or when the foot e-stop switch was activated.It was fun figuring it all out. Some circuits have to operate other circuits and when power gets dropped via a safety switch the entire power circuit has to remain dead until the main e-stop switch gets reset.This only worked when I had relays operating other relays where once power was remove the 2nd in line relay circuit would not re-power until the first relay was properly reset via the emergency switch/power switch. It is nice to be able to wire any relay NO or NC in this panel.Finally figured it all out, as I said, what fun. no really, it was actual fun haha.Could not have done it without this Iztoss 12-Slot Relay Box. Yes, I'm that guy who likes wiring haha. Wiring a old lathe or hot rod. It's all fun to finally get it figured out and see it come alive.The Iztoss 12-Slot Relay Box made it possible.~

I was going to use this to add some circuits for off-road lights to my Jeep Cherokee XJ, until I found an old fuse box from a salvage company online. About the same price, including shipping, as this box. The factory fuse box lets you connect a single high-amperage feed to many individually fused circuits, but does require more work to get it wired how you want.Depending on what you want to do, it may be a challenge to correctly, and safely, connect all these relays to a single incoming feed. Just something to consider.The only real complaint I had was that the relays that came with it only had 4 pins. There was no pin 87a (normally closed). This does NOT match the image shown on the listing. Granted, most users never use that pin, but I needed it for my project. It does come with enough crimps to wire up every possible pin tough, at least.

This fuse box worked well for wiring up my 5.3 ls swap s10 engine and electric fan harness. Some of the connectors would not click into the box like they should, so the only thing holding them in is the prongs plugged in on the fuses and relays. Not a huge deal. After you've finished wiring everything up I recommend gooping silicone on all of the seams to make it water resistant.

The media could not be loaded.  The space behind the relays and fuses and the outer case is too shallow you have to really cram the wires in there. If you use higher gauge wires it's no problem but I'm using all eight and 10 gauge wire because it's a high voltage load

I had to order another one of these relay and fuse boxes because the one I ordered was supposed to have 6 relays and only got 5 of them, it was supposed to have all the fuses and it didn’t come with those , and I didn’t get the metal wire connections that were supposed to have come with it either. So I got this box so I could get the metal wire connections and now have to get the fuses from the parts store. So now I have an extra box . I tried to get with someone to help me with at least giving me the metal wire connections and I’d let the rest go (1 relay, 6 fuses)!!!! But nope !

This seemed like a nice fuse/relay box for adding additional lights to my Raptor. Great price, came with the relays and all the connectors. But, I returned it because it wasn't water proof. I need one for under the hood and this was water resistant at best. The top cover was tight but had no seal and the bottom cover was loose and definitely not weather proof. Would be good for under the dash or trunk but not where it can get wet.

good kit with everything you need, however not really any instructions and everything is separate. Luckily had a car buddy come over and help me wire it.

I used this to fabricate a fuse and relay center for my LS swap project. Components are decent as well as fitment. The only modification I had to do was remove some plastic between 4 of the fuse slots in order to slide the buss bar between 4 of the terminals in place. You could use short pieces of wire and double crimp the connectors, but I chose to use a bus bar configuration.

Great relay and fuse box, I would prefer if the box had a main connection for 12v that could be distributed to the fuses and relays, but I used a bus right next to the relay box to achieve the same result.The relays are all 4 pin, but do have a slot for a 5 pine relay if required.Deffinetly not water proof, but gives good protection against water and dirt intrusion. Perfect for the DIY-er looking to add some aftermarket accessories while maintaining a clean look.I would like to see a few extra connectors in the package to be able to use more 5 pin relays and to cover any mistakes or rewiring that may be needed.
