Good product
This worked well for me. Let’s you install any 7” light on your bike and gives you enough room to stuff all the extra wires in. If there is a light you want and it’s not listed as one that fits your bike this will bridge that gap. It looks good as well. Instructions are not the greatest, but there are some YouTube videos out there that show you the secret sauce to avoid fiddling with little bolts for hours and hours to get it on there.

Great so far!
Sturdy and comes with all hardware but, not instructions. Easy to disassemble and get the headlight in. Love that it is all metal and painted. Plenty of room to put all the wires in the back.

A good replacement for the same
This is my second purchase of the same item, albeit the first through Amazon. Delivery was amazingly fast! The product is good, but the front section securing the headlight on the first purchase lost tolerance (due to vibration) and the headlight will minimally rotate clockwise and counterclockwise within this section. The front section fits properly snug into the rear section (cavity) without play or loss of tolerance. It may be possible to shim the headlight to address the problem, but I have yet to try. . . Overall, a good product that may be worth getting re-powder coated to ensure a longer lasting finish.

Metal bucket
Much preferred to the stock plastic headlight housing on an SV650. The metal not only looks better, but is also more durable than the plastic bucket in the event of a slide. The whole thing is now a ground LOL

Fits original equipment of 85 Kawasaki 454 LTD
I love that the housing is all metal! It feels of excellent quality and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Bought this housing for the light that was recommended on Amazon. Simply picked my style of light and bought them together. This housing fit my 85 Kawasaki LTD 454. I did not use the additional fork brackets that came with the housing. The housing fit the original mounting hardware for the old light perfectly. As seen in the pictures.

Bucket ok, brackets not
While the bucket is ok and certainly more affordable than an OEM bucket, the brackets that I was delivered weren't working. The metal piece's curvature was not bent correctly and the mounts didn't close for the bolt to go through the holes. I tried to fit them to a 2018 MT 07 fork. Since the metal of these brackets is very thick, I was not able to modify them. They would be very sturdy if the curvature was correct. I don't know if other brackets have the same problem. But mine did. The bucket did not come with any rubber boots but was well packaged. The quality of the paint coat is simple. I would not be surprised if the coat was not good enough on some higher end motorcycles. I personally would have favored a more expensive finish and would have been willing to spend maybe twice the money paired with good CNC milled brackets. I found other brackets on amazon that fit very well and would work with this bucket, however the bucket is made of steel and very heavy. I would probably use a third mount attaching underneath. For a MT07 this bucket doesnt seem to appear too big but on my 2018 ABS model a lot of wires would have to be rerouted to make some more space.

Worth every penny.
Work super nice. Removed the stock 5.25 headlampt of my sportster with a 7” and it works super nice. Easy to assemble. Pics show already assembled with a very inexpensive head lamp (which includes turn signals) bought here in amazon.

I expected to have to modify this to get it to fit, and I expected to have a bear of a time fitting all the wiring inside. Neither of these were an issue, and the included mounting hardware was unnecessary - it fit fine on the stock mounts using the stock hardware.

Mounts for the forks weren't even circular they were triangular had to bend them into circles which then made them way to short to reach around the forks and in turn had to get new bolts because the supplied ones were too short 🤦 no there were no signs of damage that could've "squashed" the fork clamps it literally looks to have been that way from where they were made, there were no scuff marks on them. I did have to also cut out the back of the headlight housing because my stedi headlight didnt fit although that would be mostly my wrongdoing for not measuring the depth but even then. for the price 😬 i only bought it because i gotta get my bike road worthy before it goes into the 3 month unregistered territory.

Doesn't fit my Kawasaki vulcan 1500. Forks are 72mm and these need custom clamps to mount. Which didn't work out. Will be retuning

Headlight holder isn't bad, but the fork brackets are not formed well, resulting in issues tightening and large gaps around the forks. One, the paint cracked and chipped off showing rust underneath. The product was missing the foam rubber and instruction booklet advertised. The seller's response was that most people don't need them.... I was told to use the low quality image in the ad for installation instruction.... They did, supply videos they made themselves, but that only showed they didn't know the product.
