Yeeee Haaaa! Good Times There Are Not Forgotten
It's the 1968 Dodge "Country Charger"... celebrated in song and story.Just a good old car, never meanin' no harm... got put upon a list, by upset revisionists on the day it was born. Makin' its way, the only way it knows how, but that's just a little bit more than the censors allow. "Country Charger", yea... we all know what kit this really is.PROS:This is a repackaging of a kit that was originally molded in orange (nudge nudge, wink wink). Push bar, roll cage, and dual-quad carbs are still offered.Nicely detailed interior. Very few warp or flash issues.A lot of 'new' decals are included.CONS:The kit is now molded in black, not the original orange. (nothing a coat of primer won't help to fix!)No driver's side mirror (or any mirrors) are included... weird, considering the box top art shows one. I had to use a spare from a different kit.No accelerator/brake pedals are included (not than anyone would see them, but this is the first kit I've ever built that doesn't have them)The wheel rims provided aren't perfect, but they're close enough once painted. Some fitting issues regarding the bumpers & roll cage, which may require a bit of creative restructuring and sanding.Had to make my own CB antenna & roof decals... hee hee heeFINAL WORD:Overall a solid kit. Even if you aren't looking to build a not at all specific, well known car from a long running, #1 rated television series of the 1970's, you could do a lot worse than the "Country Charger".I would recommend this kit for builders of intermediate skill.

Not as good as a quality as I hoped
I've built a lot of models. This brand, mpc, I wasn't impressed with the casting of the plastic moulds. Had to clean lots of pieces to make them fit correctly. It turned out ok but with more work than I have had to do to previous builds.
