Feels cheap, but works fine.
Not too much to say here - it works perfectly fine in powering up my Sega Genesis 2. My only complaint, albeit minor, is that the power brick feels too lightweight and cheap for the size it is, but whatever.

It works perfectly!
I saw reviews that you had to hold cord in for it to work, and I had to also..I was so tempted to return until I opened system and found that there's a common soldering issue. the adapter works perfectly. If you have issues its the system!

Will add audible noise to some circuits such as an NES.
This works but is cheaply made. NES could accept input from a Sega transformer as it could run off AC and DC. This will make a humming sound out of the tv screen however because it is cheaply made. The old adapters weren't just heavy because they were old. The transformers weren't using all digital circuits. The OEM Sega transformer works with no hum because the old consoles weren't made with noise canceling circuits inside. They were expecting to get clean power because the adapters weren't trash. I learned this after restoring an NES recently. I got it running g and heard a hum because this was the closest power adapter to grab. Decided dig out another and hum was gone. I understand it wasn't sold to work for nes so it gets 4 stars but it does speak to the quality.

Works Technicall y- But Potentially Dangerous
This thing does what it is supposed to do. It worked fine with all of the Model 2 Genesis systems I have but holy cow this thing feels cheap. It not only feels cheap but is cheap. After barely 6 months of having it and unplugging it maybe twice the copper wire is already becoming exposed as the base of the power brick which is not good. In fact, the copper wiring has completely come apart at some of its connections. I don't plan on using it again because of this and plan to get a better replacement, and I suggest to spend a little extra (7-8 buck extra) and do the same. Unless you are really okay with just a temporary cheap cheap cheap power supply.

It works fine
It works fine but it's disturbingly light compared to the OEM power adapters. Has power supply technology really advanced that much?

Works well with my Game Gear!
No complaints, basic and solid product. Wiring is a bit thin so be careful with that, but aside from that, you're good.

nice alternative for Game Gear replacement
I got this for a Sega Game Gear. So far it has held up nicely.
