McFarlane Toys Avatar - 7in Jake and Mega Banshee BOB

The banshee is simply beautiful. Of course, there are a few scuffs, scratches, paint misaligned, but from a distance and on a shelf (as it should be, this is a display piece and not a toy) it is simply beautiful. Pictures hardly do it justice for its size. This thing is MASSIVE and finding a good spot to put it was difficult for me. The wingspan is about 24.5 inches wide at the wingtips and the thing is 23 inches long from the tail. Speaking of the tail, it is flexible sure, but do not expect to bend it and have it stay where you put it. Overall, the banshee is possible in some sense, but keeping it in its 'midflight' look in my opinion looks best.Pros: It's stunning and eye catching from a distance. This will be a highlight piece for any small-time collector. Cheap, and very effective.Cons: Mild scuffing, not very possible, a little fragile.

This figure is HUGE! It's very well made and while it takes a bit of strength to assemble (especially the post) it looks fantastic on display! Does need to be displayed out of box as the Skimwing requires some minor assembly (it's packed with it's wings folded in and it's tail is separate from it's torso.) Highly recommended!Side note: I've noticed a lot of reviews say the base isn't very sturdy and breaks easily and I can't help but feel like those people are not assembling it correctly. Once the post is fully inserted into the body, the base is more than sturdy enough to support it in the position you want it. The post needs to be inserted BEFORE you place the Skimwing into the base, trying to shove the figure down onto the post while in the base will certainly cause the breakage shown in the other review images.

Epic figure!! Details and design is wonderful.

I had already gotten Neytiri’s Banshee, and I loved it so much that I had to get Jake’s Banshee too. I have over 75 action figures, and these Banshees are BY FAR the coolest ones that I own. They are huge, the detail is incredible, and the Jake action figure can sit on the banshee perfectly.Let me tell you some of the details. The black light activated dots are beautiful, and they are in a pattern that can ONLY be seen when you shine the backlight on them. The banshee comes with a pocket on the saddle for Jakes bow. The coolest thing to me, is that there are slits in the banshees antenna when you can connect Jake’s braid into the antenna to create “the bond” between Jake and the banshee. I will never get over how cool these banshees are, and if you are on the fence about getting them just buy it. It is well worth $50.

I can't believe it. I'm in disbelief that something this incredibly amazing in detail and HUGE size can be so cheap! So cheap I had to buy an extra for display only and keep the other sealed. Lol. I will be buying a Black Light for my new figure for sure! This is so great, you will LOVE it! I went ahead and ordered Jake too. I wonder if they have the same size for Neytiri and her Banshee? Must find!!!

McFarland has always made extraordinary action figures, but unfortunately, has also always made notoriously bad stands to hold the weight of their heavier figures. All the figures in this series are still well worth the price for their sculpting detail, paint, design, and execution. I'm including a picture attachment to show how I fixed the stand so the flange on the base won't crack, and your figure won't come crashing down in the middle of the night like mine did! Amazingly, the figure itself didn't sustain any damage. A testamentto the durability of the toy. Todd McFarland just needs to design better stands for these figures :)

When I ordered the toy, it came the exact day it said it would! I am Impressed with the toys size too. I got it when the price had dropped but either way, it’s worth spending the money! I am the #1 fan of the Avatar franchise, and this toy was perfect for me. The Jake Sully Figure was spectacular as well. I am always impressed and fascinated by All the Avatar products and this one was spectacular. Perfect for Birthday gifts, Christmas Presents, and anything really! If you truly love the Avatar franchise, you’re gonna love this! 💕

Avatar 2022 mega Jake's banshee (dragon) is so beautiful and a 5 stars display figure! With a huge 25" wingspan and 22" long body when display on the stand.The colors are standout when you use the blacklight bulb.The dragon (banshee) only cost $50, that is worth value of this display figure.This display figure is not a toy, due to it's fragile for a child under 12 years old and the parts could easily come apart, if a child play with.You could also buy the 7" Jake Sully action figure (sold separately) to fit on top of the banshee (dragon) at $25 making this display figure, a totally amazing set all together by MacFarlane toys!!
