I was a bit nervous about this product since it was not one of the more popular options on Amazon. However I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and freshness of the black beans. I made a batch of homemade black bean sauce with them and WOW, did it turn out super well. I will definitely purchase these again.

I think one has to be a fan of authentic Chinese food to like these.They're smoky, salty and perfectly delicious.Pair a couple tablespoonfuls with a little hoisin sauce... add to some flash fried squid.Simply sublime.
