Schylling Silver Racecar Metal Speedster

Fantastic toy. Really well built. Nice wide wheels. Solid metal frame looks built to last. Easy to assemble. Kids love it and looks great sitting in the corner too. We also got the fire truck one which I’m less impressed with. The fire trucks wheels aren’t as wide and as stable as the race car. Love this and would recommend.

I purchased this toy as a prop for photos of the ring bearer and flower girl at my vintage inspired wedding. It is absolutely adorable in person and seems to be good quality. Since I just purchased it for looks, I will not be able to attest to the durability of the piece. I can say that it was a bit tricky to put together. There are a couple spots that are quite hard to reach because of the shape of the body of the car. It is much easier to put together with two people. I did not have to supplement the hardware that came with the car, once tightened properly the piece is quite sound. I found a short-handled screwdriver and needle nosed pliers worked most efficiently to tighten the hardware.

Love! Quality and family toy to pass on! It's made well and is for scooting not joy riding down a side of a mountain so for baby's to explore not racing!!! Follow the directions and take your time putting it together. I got the silver. Love! My son looks so cool! He can touch the floor with his feet yet (1 year) but he can crawl all over it, push it, play with the steering wheel and makes him feel like a big boy! I will love to see him grow into it! The price is right on target!

It’s a nice toy car but the design is such that leg movement is somewhat restricted and limits speed. Relatively easy to put together with the exception of getting the seat into place which I can only attribute to resilience and luck for my part.

I got this little car for my 10 month old son. Although he can't reach the ground he loves to be pushed around the house. As for the quality it is very well built. Contrary to other reviews the item I received had a metal steering wheel. The seat and gas tank are plastic. Almost everything else is metal and I think it will last a long long time.I was able to assemble the car in under 20 minutes. The instructions are not the greatest, but if your even a tiny bit handy it is self explanatory.

I purchase this for my nephew for Christmas. I think the pictures speak for themselves, it was smash hit.The Racecar does require about 10-15 minutes of assembly. All the tools are included in the box which makes everything quick and easy. The instructions were very easy and intuitive to follow.Quality is fantastic and this speedster has a very cool retro look to it. My nephew was 2 when he got this and was racing around like a pro in minutes.

Just assemble the car. Picture instructions do not tell that the fron wheel/steering assembly plastic is formed for the nuts. Just drop the nuts in the holes, insert bolts and hold nuts with screw driver while tighten them. No wrench required. All else is simple. Great toy!!

Depending on purpose of purchase. We purchased it with the thought of our granddaughter riding it. The steering is so close to the front wheels that she cannot get her feet far enough forward to make it go. It is very cool looking and built well just not a real good toy to ride at least for us. At the very good price point risk was low. Thank you.
