Great value Gen-3 drive that does what it's supposed to
If you're interested in cheap external storage, this drive, and others like it, plus a USB-A/C/Thunderbolt caddy is a pretty good way of doing it. For reasonably static storage, it's ideal and very cheap; and you're unlikely to trouble it physically, even at Thunderbolt speeds.

great for a cheap upgrade to a 2015 macbook air
the 2015 Macbook Air used to do transfer speeds of around 650mb/s but now with this hard drive (and an adapter) transfers are around 1300mb/s and cached speeds of over 5.6Gb/s !only one issue is that the restoration on a 2015 Macbook Air does not see this hard drive, you have to install Mac OS Monterey or above to see the NVME hard drive.or just install a decent Linux OS (Tuxedo OS) instead.Even Mac OS Monterey runs faster on this hard drive than the old standard SSD

Failed and not working within an year of usage
After 11 months of use, my Netac NV3000 2TB NVMe SSD has wholly failed. The drive suddenly stopped working, and Windows no longer recognizes it. In Disk Management, it shows up as "Unknown (Not Initialized)," and any attempts to initialize it result in error messages.To make matters worse, all my data is now unrecoverable, which is incredibly disappointing for a product that should be reliable. I expected much better quality and longevity from this SSD. I definitely do not recommend this product to anyone looking for dependable storage.
