TINGLEY31151 Economy SZ11 Kneed Boot for Agriculture

The product is probably 4-4.5 stars, but, for the price it's 5 star. I wear size 10 in almost everything so that's what I bought here. They fit well BUT I put an insole in these and I wear thicker socks in rain boots so they might run about 1/2 to 1 size large unless you do the same things. The tread is good for traction; the sole is hard so it's a little slippery on wet, hard, smooth surfaces (but my last rain boots were like roller skates in the same situation so these are definitely an improvement), and they seem sturdy and well-built.

Ordered these as I need rubber boots for some property that I have that tends to get very soft after a hard rain. The fit was a little tight, so you may want to order one size larger. But, once I got the boots on, they were very comfortable. I wore them while working out on my land for about 3 hours, and never had a problem, and did not have aching feet after I took them off, as I have had with other types of rubber boots in the past. For the price, they can't be beat.

Just got these, and initial impressions are very good. I find the fit to be accurate (I generally take a half size so ordered the whole number larger, and that has just a bit of extra room... good for wool socks when I use these in cold water). Construction seems rugged, although only time will prove that.

These are excellent the price. I'm sure I could ask for more at a higher price, but we'd be taking about small differences that I would be losing in the end for how long I had to search. I needed waterproof knee high rubber boots, and these are a sturdy that. The rubber is thick, the tread is better than I thought, the insole is better than I expected for the price, and the toe protection is great for not being a steel toe.I would have designed it with a loop to pull it onto my foot, but it works just fine as is.

I bought these for my husband to wear for working around the yard. We live in Portland, where we pretty much get rain 9 months of the year, so there's times when there's mud to deal with. The idea of simply hosing the boots off to clean them is the real plus for these. The size is true to size - he wears a size 10 and he says they fit fine. What he REALLY dislikes is how heavy they are. He said that if he was needing to wear them hours at a time, he'd want to send them back...but due to the low price, and how infrequently he'll be wearing them, he'll just keep them. Not a ringing endorsement but they'll do.

These aren't too heavy and do a great job of keeping the water out. I was surprised how easy they were to walk in. They also clean up very easy with a hose. I order the size 10, I generally wear between a size 9.5 and 10.5 US and this fits just fine.I've used them to walk into a pond a bit to work on a dock. You do have to be careful about suction in mud, but that's not really an issue with just these boots. I did find that even when I went a little deep and got some water in them, they are thick enough that even in cold weather your body heat will heat the water up enough to make it not so noticeable.

Terrible.The chemical smell / off-gassing from these boots is so disgusting I have to leave them outside.The smell is so strong that it fills the mud-room if I keep them inside. And it is a nasty nasty smell.I've worn these terrible boots to walk the dog out-side about six times now (which is what I bought them for).For the last week, I've been under the suspicion that the dog had peed somewhere in the living room and I couldn't find it. I had my nose into the sofa cushions, the floor, even around the table legs. I just discovered that the nasty smell I've been smelling in my living room is my socks when I've worn the boots outside to walk the dog. The chemical smell leaches into my socks and emits into the room even thought the boots are outside.Cannot recommend these boots. They stink.ADDITIONAL AFTER TWO MONTHSUnbearable. I have tried everything to get the rubber off-gas smell out of these and the still stink so bad I have ot leave them outside. I hate wearing them because my socks and pant legs stink of chemicals when I come back inside. I thought after two months the smell would have dispersed, but it is just as strong as when I first received them.I'm going to ask the seller for a refund but I doubt I'll get it. Will have to just toss these in the trash.TERRIBLE PRODUCT.

Good solid boots. The shipping costs killed me, though!!Edit to add:After using these boots lightly (not every day!) they developed cracks and therefore leak. I would next time purchase cheap Canadian Tire gum boots and be well ahead of the game. These are not good quality.
