Out of maybe 10 different beginning French books that I've ordered, this one is the most clearly organized in an easy to understand sequential order, as well as clear charts and exercises. As a teacher myself, I'm really impressed with the format and relevant content. Definitely buy this one, you won't regret it!

A pretty good book that explains the basic grammar. I'm only 1/3 into the book and so far I have found a few mistakes in the back of the book where all the answers to the questions are, is it the end of the world? no but for a book that's suppose to teach you French, mistakes like this shouldn't really happen. I'll give one example of one mistake I found, In the chapter that teaches you about family names there is a question that asks who Julien is to Sophie, in this question the real answer is sister-in-law but the answer given by the book is cousin, which could make it really awkward if you where to use this information when talking to a French person. So if you where to buy this book really check the answers.
