This just might be one of the sweetest, most wonderful, "never-knew-I-needed-one" things I've ever seen!I am a stuffed animal collector (yes, a grown woman that collects stuffed animals...there, I said it). But am not a doll collector/have no interest in dolls. However, when I came across this little cutie, something about it drew me to choosing it.Little did I know just how much I'd end up loving it.It's cute in photos, but photos just don't do it justice, at all.When it arrived, I was immediately struck by both the quality and artisanship of sweet little gal. Everything about it screams "made with love, care, and perfection". She's so, so sweet and loveable.I have a weakness for crocheted items. I've tried to learn to crochet many times over the years, but just cannot get past a basic crochet stitch, let alone create anything as wonderful as this!She's a great little size. Perfect for any little girl to carry around as a new best friend...or for a teen or adult to put on display on a bed or as decor on a shelf.The craftsmanship is flawless. There's no part of this 'lil doll that isn't perfect. Every stitch, every little detail from her rosy cheeks, expressive face, adorable dress, to her endlessly cheeky hair curls.This is definitely not a "throw-away" toy. It's a beautiful artisan quality piece that can be handed down to your daughters-daughter.A precious reminder of the heirloom quality dolls that are rarely found anymore.She has a small, thin metal wire hidden in her neck that enables her head to be tilted and held in differently positions and angles, but cannot be felt under the stuffing.Every stitch is perfectly done, every detail adds a simplistic charm, like her little stitch eyelashes and rosy cheeks.Her simplicity is what makes her so charming and loveable.This doll makes an amazing gift for a girl of any age...be it a special gift for a new baby to grow up with, a child looking for a new best friend, a teen that would appreciate it's craftsmanship and wanting a small reminder of childhood innocence and love, or an adult like myself, that loves unique, beautiful, charming, and sweet decor pieces like this cutie.I also really love the embossed leather-like "Little Things Handmade" tag attached to her dress....adding to her "extra special" aesthetic.I cannot gush enough about the impeccable quality and craftsmanship of this doll. Again, I was drawn to her for some reason, and she is cute in the listing photos...but seeing her in person is altogether different. Photos just do not do this beautiful, heirloom-quality piece, justice!Endlessly charming, and so loveable...everyone that comes to my house and sees her falls in love with her, asks where I got her, and wants one for themselves or their children. My two nieces that spend a lot of time here, always want her, want to play with her, and adore her. I'm ashamed to say...she's off-limits. So I'll be getting 2 more of these, one for each niece, as soon as I can afford to get both at the same time. And then I'll be getting other different ones from this line, as soon as I can.Please note that the price of this doll is well within line with it's quality. Again, this isn't a doll that your child will play with for a couple months, then end up in the bottom of the toy box, then in the donate pile a year from now. This a high-quality, handmade crocheted piece that can be handed down for many years to come.She is very well-priced. This could easily be double the price, and be well worth it.I had no idea I could be so enchanted with a doll.Wonderfully perfect, sweet, flawless quality. I absolutely adore her, and cannot wait to get other dolls from this line!I clearly recommend 100%!!

This is a really VERY WELL MADE doll! It is literally PERFECTLY stitched! It seems pretty durable too! (As long as your child takes care of it!) :) I'm really impressed by it!!I think she's really cute & I just love her curly hair! I personally didn't like the large leather tag on her dress though, so I just carefully cut that off. It's very easy to cut the tag off if you want to without damaging the dress at all...the tag is only stitched on in 2 spots so you can easily cut those 2 threads with a small sewing scissor or a sharp, thin-pointed hair-cutting type of scissor.Her jacket comes off & you could probably put different doll tops/jackets onto her. For being handmade, she actually seems pretty durable for a child to play with...her hair is the only portion you need to be careful with if you don't want to pull all the curls out & then she'd wind up with straight hair eventually I imagine, if her hair was always being tugged on.I got this for a little girl, but my 8-year old son actually likes her so we're keeping her lol. I like her too! We have a camping doll who was originally "Super Girl" (like Superman) but she now wears a camping outfit & my son sits her in his play camping tent, so he wanted this doll to be his camping doll's friend! :) They're the only girl dolls we have, but it's nice to have a few girl toys around for when a girl comes over to play!And I have to admit that I don't think I want to part with this doll now either myself lol, since she's just so darn cute & so well made & the handmade aspect of her really makes her a special & unique item! She's a wonderful, memorable gift to give a child! I can't say enough about how truly well made & evenly, perfectly stitched she is...it's amazing honestly! Real time & care was put into making this!! And her body, head, legs, & arms aren't floppy either...they're "stiff" enough that they keep their shape & should hold up over time! :)
