As a throw this Item is a match to the available quilt. They are identical other than size (the throw is obviously smaller). I've got the set in one of my rental cabins and it does look good.The throw is a little larger than I'd like it... If you drape it over a chair or recliner it's long and will hit the floor. Given this throw matches the quilt that's probably the best motivation to buy it. It's not a soft and cuddly item.

Love the material softness

This quilt is a really nice quality product, right out of the package its beauty is obvious.It's made of good quality cotton, is well made, and has a good weight and size.However, the colors are so vivid, it didn't work for where I wanted it. I tried to find an alternative place in my home for it but alas no. I had to return it.

My goal was to top a layer of cotton and polyester blankets at the foot of my bed, this works very well for that but other reviewers commented on how soft it is. Well, maybe my idea of soft is very different because it ain't soft! I washed it and it's still very firm, I don't know how to describe it, but it's not one of those wonderful kinds of quilts you wrap yourself to watch tv. The fabric is a little textured, almost coarse feeling, but like I said, I wanted a top layer to keep the cold off of my feet and it works for that purpose. And it is gorgeous to look at.

Other reviews say it is not 100% cotton, but the Brown and Orange quilt is 100% cotton, i checked the tag. Front, back, and filling.it's lightweight but still has enough weight for me to sleep under ( I need at least some weight to sleep well)The colors are great, no loose strings or seams.

The throw is a nice weight, pattern, and color combo. But it's NOT just cotton as advertised by the seller - there is also microfiber (polyester-nylon blend). For those who want 100% cotton for health issues, buyer beware.Update: as of October 2022, Newlake states that the exterior is 100% cotton and the filling is 60% cotton/40% microfiber (polyester).

This quilt is such an easy way to add some color into my bedroom. I love that it is reversible. For me (maybe due to arthritis) the quilt was a bit heavy. It’s also very hot where I live - early arrival of summer - so I decided to use just the blanket until it gets much cooler.
