We live in a state with very hot summers (High 90’s) and little cloud cover. And we park our car in the driveway, do it’s very important to have a good, easy to use sun screen. I looked for one that fit my car (Subaru Outback), reasonably priced, easy to install, and covers the windshield completely. This one checks all the squares. I like the fact that it has a very useful mid-top feature that fits around the rear view mirror. The external color is white (repels sunlight), while the inside is black. And it is easily foldable to put back in its zipper case. Highly recommend

I've ordered this for our newly purchased used Highlander that will be parked outside in a hot summer environment. I've had previously used poorly fitted sun shields that were way too small, or just didn't sit in the windshield properly. My purchase criteria was to find one that covered the whole windshield without any gaps. I ordered this sun shield based on the product description and the fact that it had various sizes. I input my 2008 Toyota Highlander in and it said the Large size would fit. I ordered this in the evening and it arrived the next day, so I was able to use it immediately. Overall, the sunshield did in fact fully covered the windshield in my Highlander. I was able to block out all of the sun light, except for a small patch by the rear view mirror. If there is one flaw, it is that there is not a cutout to go around the stem of the rear view mirror. So what happens is that you just have to push down the cloth where the rear view mirror stem goes and make sure to minimize the size of the opening to prevent any more light from entering the car. But that is a minor thing, considering the shield fully blocks the sun at the edges of the windshield. After using it, the car did still feel warm inside, but significantly cooler than without the sun shield. The sunshield also includes a little cover for the steering wheel. There is a flap at the top of the cover that you can slide over the top of the steering wheel. To be honest, it looks a little funky when the steering cover is installed and I'm not quite sure that little cover is all that functional other than advertise the brand of the sunshield. You could get away with not using it. The main benefit really comes from a well fitted sun shield that keeps the car cool, prevents sun damage to the top of the dashboard, and the effects of sun on the seats. Folding this shield can be tricky. I read the instructions, but you are better off watching the video on the Amazon product page. You have to fold the sun shield in half first (the right half and the left half), then with the two halves on top of one another, do the twisting thing. I was able to do it somewhat successfully, although most of the time I'm just going to take the sunshield, fold it in half, and throw it into the backseat. I wanted to order a sunshield for my other cars. However, it said that those cars (Camry, Lexus GS450h) also needed a six Large sunshield. I've seen some reviews from Camry owners that said the Large was too big and they ordered the Medium. I have taken this Large size sunshield and tried it on my Lexus GS450h. Although I made it fit, it was clearly a little too large. The vertical dimension was perfect, but the horizontal dimension (length) was too long. In this case, if you have a GS450h or a Camry, the medium size would be a better choice.

This is well made and fits perfectly in the windshield and blocks the sun and heat from coming in. Easy to put in the window and to fold up after use. It stays in place when the sun visors are lowered to keep it in place.

This is your typical "2 foldable reflective things that nobody really knows how to fold", but instead of two separate pieces for my kids to steal and use as frisbees, these are held together with some extra flaps of reflective skin to fill in all those gaps on your windshield. There is some extra skin at the corners, too. It's better than the "1 rectangular foldy thing" in that it is easier to attempt to fold these little ones and it is less likely to Jack-in-the-box me at 75mph on the freeway when it suddenly unfolds, but not as messy as the "Folding acordian thing that doesn't fit anywhere when it is folded and has a funny picture that flakes off all over your back seat" It fits my windshield like an off-the-rack suit fits my 5'7" 200lb body. It covers the required bits, but looks like it was made for a much bigger car that stretched it out like a fat man in a little coat. It blocks the sun. I think I prefer the "Square umbrella" thing instead.

Compared to the old folded bubble one that I had, this one works AMAZING. It keeps the inside of the car sooooo much cooler, the steering wheel doesn't get scalding. It's warm inside, but not sweltering. Such a difference!!! Although I think they size the recommended is a bit big. The circles overlap themselves to fit. I probably will size down and give this to my partner.

3rd Magnelex sunshade I’ve purchased. The shade is high quality and will survive normal usage. Unfortunately, the Model 3 specific shade doesn’t fit as well as the 2 I have purchased for different vehicles previously. The shade will cover the entire windshield, but the internal support wire isn’t large enough to wedge the shade side to side and top to bottom.

Product did not fit properly in my Innova Hycross. The seller also has no return policy, which made it a waste of money for me. Please note that this product may not fit all cars as mentioned. Very disappointed with the purchase. 👎👎👎
