These are the best scissors I own now. Good construction, solid feel, cuts even my alien tape that other scissors have issue with. I very highly recommend.

If you want these scissors simply because they are black, go ahead. However, the stainless steel Allex scissors are better all around.Note -- the black "non-stick" coating is not effective. When cutting through clear double-sided tape, the blade gets totally gummed up. It doesn't help that the blade isn't sharp enough in the first place to cleanly cut through the sticky tape.Adding 1/2 of a drop of bike grease to the stainless-steel version produces a far better result. It is sharper and is also more non-stick. Cuts through double-sided tape like butter.

I can't believe that it took me 70 years to get a good pair of scissors. The package says "... a smooth and comfortable cutting experience..." , and these scissors deliver. There is almost no friction when closing the scissors. Normal scissors depend on a tight fit to cut, but these depend on a precise fit to cut. The thumb and finger rings are well shaped for a comfortable fit. For some reason, Japanese are well known for scissors, they even have scissors stores in Japan, they have scissors designed for specific tasks. These scissors are described as desk scissors. I have not tested the scissors on adhesive, the adhesive is not supposed to stick to the florine coated scissors.

Maybe you've no need to make a "fashion statement" with your scissors, but I find myself delighted to have selected these lovely matt-black colored scissors.In general, they're a standard pair of scissors with sharpish points. They cut all the usual things, and are small to medium in length rather than long. But they look very "high tech" and that's a nice little bonus.

I love these scissors! They are supper sharp and very lightweight. comfortable to in the hand. the coating that allows the blades to cut sticky things without having what you are cutting from sticking to the blades. Brilliant feature that allowes me to cut very sticky tapes i use regularly without having the issue of tape that is wasted when it sticks to my scissors. these types of tapes can be costly so less failure when cutting them is very important.
