Amazing Invention!!
These connectors were perfect for the installation of our low voltage backyard lighting. I just completed the installation this week and it made everything so much simpler and quicker. Time will tell if they hold up in the outdoor wet conditions next winter, but for now I am a happy camper.I read another review that someone complained that the 12 & 14 gauge wire didn't fit for them, but I used 14 gauge for the closer runs and 12 gauge for the 100 ft run. All 17 of the lights are functioning well. There were no issues inserting the wires into this connector. Not sure what their issue was. I didn't have that problem.One connection came without two of the 4 caps, but I ordered extra. Not a problem.The only challenge I had was in splitting the two halves of the wire. On 3 of the 17 I did manage to slightly expose the wire on one side. I used electrical tape and sealed it up. Lights work. I am happy.I would absolutely recommend these electrical connections.

These do a great job! Was completely satisfied with the easiest installation and quality of these lights! Beat the big companies price hands down!. Ordered another set!

Work well with correct wire gauge.
They work well but only with the right wire gauge. Mine was a bit too thick and had to shave it down to allow them to be installed easier.

Quick and secure connection
My electrician was not familiar with these connectors and had his doubts but once he tried them he loved them and said they made a very secure connection and were quick and easy to use

Beats messy wire nuts.
This is the best connectors I have found for doing low voltage wiring. This keeps your wire run intact (no cutting and messy waterproof wire nuts) so resistance in the line is kept to a minimum.

The low voltage connector to avoid
YOU SHOULD NOT BUY THIS! Absolute rubbish. Fully 50% of the connections failed. Most of the caps to tighten the 12V wire pierce fittings cracked and/or stripped. I attempted to reseat several times to no avail. Avoid this like the plague. It does not save time, and certainly not money over the blue silicone stuffed outdoor wire nuts pictured below.
